Seeing all these jump trails! Matchmaking bugged?

I know that there always is some disparity in rank in matches, meaning that you'll be seeing many differently ranked players in a lobby to compensate for certain other players in the match.

This of course won't really function well if they land with lower ranked users.

We have 2 things that would explain this:

• The matchmaker sucks
• You're playing in a region where there are more higher ranked players

Hopefully we can at least get some insight into the matchmaking systems, that way it would be easier for us to judge what should be judged.
