Servers for Canada

Yes I agree, the nearest data center for me is Oregon, and that's 2,064km away. Just 2 or 3 data centers in Canada would be great. One for west, one for east. And one sprinkled elsewhere. I get on average 100-3000 ping so 50 ping would be a nice change.

yeah, I love this game so much but it's impossible to play this game in the middle of the day, even when it 12 am or early in the morning I have problems, I live in BC, and the best server is in organ it says 45 latency but it fluctuates between 60 and 200. I try and play ranked but can't due to freezing and the game crashing on its self. give some love to us Canadians just as I'm writing this I've got kicked out of 3 ranked games in a row and am trying to look for solutions if anyone has any id love to hear cause this game could not get any worse.

I have the same issue here. I'm located near Vancouver on the lower mainland and the game is pretty close to unplayable during the day. Best time to play is after 9pm. 

A friend of mine which is located in Vancouver showed his connection issues in the game. Other players are frozen at a spot and teleport every two seconds to another spot. Item pick ups are delayed and the same with shots and bullets. In your news section you write about #stopasianhate and i totally agree, racism is not acceptable, but where is the #loveforcanadians ?

I live in Toronto too and server it s not usable at all always high ping and lag I contact EA and always they blame on my internet connection while I have 1 gb download and 30 Mb upload speed.

EA has to know canada is bigger then whole Europe by land and why we don't have even one data centre in this country? Spend a money and bring server to canada.

I live in Milton, Ontario and my ping is always 30 - freaking 3000. Canada nor Africa has actual good servers.

I 100% agree I think having servers in Canada is long overdue

Almost 2 years on from your post and still no Canadian servers. I wonder if it's viable for Respawn.

I'm in Edmonton and get a pretty consistent 90ms in game. Was hoping for something better than around 100.

Hopefully one day we have at least one local server.

At least it’s consistent 90 for you. I’m out by drumheller and I have anywhere from 130-250 and it’s super unstable playing on anything. Closest is oregon. 

Ah, that sucks! I wonder if that has to do with traveling along the cabling to get to a major city within Canada first.

Nowadays, mine is actually more around 70/75 to Oregon, which is fine. It would still be great to get half that with a local server. Hopefully the player base in Canada is such that that's something Respawn would consider.
