Short, detailed Feedback about Loba/Mirage/Weapons
Quick and simple feedback about various stuff.
Loba
Loba isn't bad, but isn't that good either. I get her intentions and her abilities, but for the most part everything looks a little mediocre if you ask me. She's a thief and steals stuff, which is a great gimmick. But her abilities need to be improved for that.
Tactical: Burglar's best friend
This initially isn't a bad ability. It actually is pretty well executed. However, I do have two small nitpicks here especially when it comes to casting time and utility.
- The casting time is pretty long, and in many cases does more bad than good combined with the next problem. The ring has a travel time attached to it. It isn't an immediate teleport, and the ring already flies slower than a normal grenade, at least it feels like that. I would prefer either the flight speed to be enhanced, or the casting time to be almost instant.
- While ring is flying, you can't do anything. No shooting, no looting, no picking up of banners. Basically any kind of tactical use of this ability is diminished. It would be great if we could actually do something while the ring is traveling. I get her hands are nice but she doesn't need to look at them all the time.
Passive: Eye for quality
To be honest, it's quite powerful. Anyone with an egoistic mind can take the best loot right off the bat. Yeah, technically not an OP ability. But the range of it is insane. It should be lowered to something like... 30 meters? Not across a whole town. Also, hovering over a purple or gold item from a distance should pop up the item and show you what it is and potentially allow you to ping it.
Ultimate: Black Market Boutique
So, this one is kind of difficult to rate. On the one hand, it's a very powerful ability. (hence: ultimate) On the other hand, it's execution is somewhat lacking.
- For the first, being able to only pick two items is what bothers me the most. Yes, two items sounds like a bunch if you can grab it from far away. But by the time you have the ultimate, 90% of the grabbed items become useless. Consumables are limited to take. Of course it's a max stack, but limits you on other things. How about we have two separate categories? 2 consumables and 2 everything else?
- Secondly, this shop is a literal spotlight. Basically I was able to take out people in a single sweep because I saw the shop flashing up. Same counts for others raiding us, too. Make the visuals a bit less flashy, will ya?
Mirage
So, Mirage feels a little off, still. I have not used him before this patch, so I cannot really put my hands on what has improved/gotten worse from before. But I will explain my general thoughts about him.
Tactical: Psyche out
This is quite a great ability. 90% of the time, it actually tricked enemies. May subside later on, but generally I found this ability to be quite good. The only thing I could criticize/mention: Make a tiny 'hole' into the holograms body when your crosshair is over it, so you can see through it and potentially shoot enemies from through the decoy.
Passive: Now you see me...
Absolutely great! Nothing to say here.
Ultimate: Life of the party
So here's the thing: An initially good idea. But people can quickly shoot down all the decoys and still kill you soon after. It's likely meant as a distraction/escape ability. Distraction doesn't work mid-combat, people can see who is actually shooting and who isn't. Furthermore, the cloak is very short, and by the time you decloak, they can see who just appeared among the crowd
- Ultimate cloak should be increased to 4 seconds. OR...
- Mirage should be displaced and spawned together with 5 other decoys in random directions and patterns
Wingman
The attachment is kinda weak in my opinion. yeah, it can two-shot people, three-shot people with helmets, so same as before basically.
Mastiff
Why was that one replaced with Peacekeeper, rather than just nerfing the peacekeeper? Now we have a trash legendary because peacekeeper wasn't really legendary-worthy. And it still isn't. Mastiff was able to one-shot people with a headshot. Peacekeeper doesn't.
Sentinel
Great choice! 2 shield cells hurt way less than 1 shield battery, so praise this!
