Shotguns
Well devs, shotguns are used on close ranges, so if someone jump on you, and you have shotgun, you must have edge, but let's talk about all shotguns,
1- Mozambique : A useless gun, with 4 ammo clip, each bullet has 3 pellets and each pellet deal 15 damage so if you are lucky to perform a shot, it is 45 damage per shot, I think the damage par pellet must be increased to 25, so 75 damage per shot is enough to buff this gun, like mastiif it will be 2 shot kill if enemy has white armor or no armor.
2- Mastiff : Mastiff is one of the most hard shotgun to use, but decreasing its per pellet damage to 11 isn't a good idea, you guys saw that it's pick rate has been reduced many time, 11 * 8 = 88 damage per shot, pellets on the edge are much spread from 6 in the mid, so on my practice it's like 77 damage per shot of you land it at 4 to 5 meters, buff it to 12 damage per pellet, 12 * 8 = 96,96 is enough, because its kick when fire is enough to have skills to use it.
3- Eva 8 : Well Eva shotgun has 9 pellets, faster rate of fire with almost no recoil, it deal 7 damage per pellet, its much fair to use because of its rate of fire, it is balanced gun I think.
4- Peacekeeper: Pk is coming in season 9 on loot ground with 11 pellets per shot, each pellet deal 9 damage so its 99 damage per shot, its a fair amount of damage, it is also balanced according to my view
BUFF IDEAS:
1- As I mentioned earlier, mazambique must deal 25 damage per pellet, so 75 damage per pellet is enough, it has less pellets that are launched some distance from each other so on 5 to 8 meters there are less chances to launch all 3 pellets, so giving it 25 dmg per pellet isn't a bad idea.
2- I would talk about mastiff here, you must decrease its kick or increase the pellet damage to 12, that enough to kill someone in 3 shots if any one of the 3 shots isn't launched perfectly.
3- Eva and peacekeeper are balanced according to my view..
Hopefully we will able to see mazambique and mastiff buff this season..
