Should we be capable of swapping or refunding our heirloom shards.

 I bought the wrong heirloom by mistake and would try and see if I could get a refund or swap heirlooms.

  • Hey @No_a_joke, sorry to hear you'd accidentally picked up a different heirloom. I know those can be far and few between so that would be disappointing for sure if it's not the one you'd planned.

    At this time we're unable to exchange or otherwise reverse in-game purchases including heirlooms I'm afraid, sorry.

  • I don't think it would be that great if honest.

    People could just start switching heirlooms because they dislike them, technically granting them infinite heirlooms.

    You can put a limit on the amount of refunds though that wouldn't really fix the issue at hand either.

    Maybe putting a time limit on refunds, like 30 minutes or so, could resolve it.

    This way accidental purchases can instantly be refunded without any issues.

    Pretty sure there are some confirmation windows you have to go through before actually purchasing the heirloom, so from their perspective it's already hard to buy it per mistake.

  • Yeah its a real shame that you cannot refund heirlooms. 

    Another player had the issue where they clicked on a button prompt while viewing the list of heirlooms and it wasn't responding.

    They clicked the same place a few more times and somehow it registered it as them clicking Crypto's heirloom to buy. So, they've ended up with Crypto's, when they much rather have Wraith's.

    I've had a similar menu issue where I was clicking on the back button while on the settings menu after I changed some settings, and it didn't respond to the first click. I then clicked again, and it just closed the settings menu and readied me up for a match.

    Hopefully there would be a solution in the future for heirloom exchanges, but I don't have a clue if that's being planned or will ever be planned. 

  • I feel there should at some point be a refund system like in other games. Both in accidental purchases and in refunds. If you buy an heirloom by mistake, as long as you don't leave the purchase screen you can refund it or a timer on maybe 10 to 15 min. 

    There should also be a refund system for just refunding in general. Back when the game was pretty new, a lot of people got heirlooms but back then you couldn't choose which you got. Many people still don't use the heirlooms they got and i wonder if there should be a system that gives you 2 maybe 3 refunds in total on heirlooms and mythics. People could get the heirloom they want without having unlimited heirlooms. It might be hard to do, but i feel it would benefit a lot of people and the community in general.
