@Joemanji Do note that the A50s is a wireless headset.
These issues typically (By around 80%) manifest with bluetooth headsets, this is something that is out of the control of the developers.
Whilst sound issues exist, in many games, they aren't always caused by game code.
(If it's caused by some issues in the code, note that making audio function properly is a pretty hard task, especially on a modified version of source)
EDIT: Do note that not all bluetooth headsets share this exact issues, the reason why audio issues are hard to fix, is because there are so many different ones being used. In other games it has been made clear that users with bluetooth headsets make up the majority of these "audio issues" posts, which is something usually unrelated with the games.

Feels like you are making excuses for Respawns lack of ability to fix sound.
They seem to have no problem creating hundreds of useless environmental sounds but can't make the most important ones relevant to game sense?
Our teammates footsteps seem to work just perfectly....do they not? Why since launch can I hear my teammates footsteps as clear as day from 30 yards away....but the enemy 2 feet behind me is silent?
Are you suggesting that this issue is related to Bluetooth headsets and not related to the game?
Clearly if our own teammates footsteps can be heard, including that of my own to an even higher degree than the enemy breathing on my neck - than does that not show the footsteps can be made to work and has nothing to do with headsets?
Does Bluetooth headsets only affect enemy footsteps but leave that of teammates in tact. How can that be?
At this point I would rather have my own and my teammates footsteps just be completely removed....at least that way I have a small chance to hear an enemy sprinting up behind me to to shoot me in the back of the head from inches away.
I have tried multiple head sets, wired, wireless, cheap ones and ridiculously expensive BR pro gaming headsets. Its always the same. And vertical sound, be that above or below you is broken to all hell.
Funny thing is my headsets all work perfect when I play fortnite, COD, PubG and other BR games, only Apex enemy footsteps is an issue. How do you explain that?

I guess why it can sound like that, though I've seen this exact situation with so many games.
In the end it was always revealed that the biggest % were caused by bluetooth headsets.
Now I don't know the exact cause for this, though this isn't something related to a specific frequency.
Do note that there can be plenty of interference with bluetooth, next to that it has a whole different way of processing things... which is most likely the main cause.
This is the exact reason that players should use Ethernet instead of WiFi, especially when troubleshooting issues.
Using a bluetooth headset is just unreliable, audio issues should be tested properly, multiple headsets and all.
Now you've said that you tested it, further problems could indicate issues with your audio drivers or other forms of software/add-ons like Dolby Atmos
Every game interacts differently with drivers and hardware, though this doesn't always mean that the application is at fault.
Some games might use a specific way to create a certain action, which might be unsupported by certain drivers.
We can pretty much only blame devs if the commands sent by the application are invalid due to some reason within the client itself, though there are many steps taken before the audio gets somewhere.
Now if we are actually speaking of an issue that's caused by issues within the client, it would be near impossible to fix it.
You can hardly get player data as there are many headsets which will produce different results.
Soundcards/chips and other hardware differs, so they can't find the cause with player testing.
This means they'll have to do testing within the company itself, without any clues to what could be causing it. That would take lots of time and resources for something that's extremely hard to fix.
Now once they find it, they'll have to fix it in a way so it doesn't affect other things, which is already another big task.
Audio is hard in games, I'd personally cut some slack to the devs that make sure it all works.
- 3 years ago@XHelperZ I play on Ps4 wired....issues are consistent. Midnight says it exactly the way it is.
I chalk it up as the old original Dev put it...."yeah, we aren't really sure why."
Over 10 seasons and it has never been fixed. Tells me it probably hasn't been worked on at all. Since that Dev's sad words in regards to the sound issues, they have been absolutely silent since.
- 3 years ago@XHelperZ ppl who use bluetooth headsets for gaming can't complain about anything. that's just way too stupid

Do note that not every player is super competitive.
Bluetooth headsets can be quite easy to use, especially on console platforms where BT headsets are typically more liked due to the fact that you either have to link your headset to the console or the controller itself. For casual gamers the audio should work fine, every game should be able to properly support BT headsets without any issues at all.
Of course these headsets can encounter some issues themselves due to interference and so on, which is a pretty normal thing... though this doesn't mean that games shouldn't support them.
Don't think it's stupid for them to complain as these audio issues could still be related to the client itself, though with audio issues it's always hard to figure out the cause.
That's why with issues like these it's better to check with wired headsets to eliminate the chance of there being issues with the BT connection which would be causing the audio issues in that case.
Doesn't mean that people with BT headsets can't get these in-game audio issues, so I think it's completely fair for them to complain if there is something wrong with the game itself.
