@NVC_Miny Had a match of pubs where I was doing alright, getting kills, working great as a team. Then suddenly a level 4 Bangalore appeared and aimbotted my teammates to the ground and they appeared to be lag switching or something as they froze in the air for me, while my performance indicator went crazy, and then ran off from their teammate (A level 379 Lifeline, this team also had no third), after killing us, because Bangalore was also using wall hacks, in which they were already targeting another full team. (They fully solo'ed this team and then ran off once again to take out another team).
As Bangalore fought people, the enemy players seemed to freeze up and not respond quick enough, and that seems like a form of DDOSing. As when it happened to me, I was still able to move, but the players around me were frozen, I think my movement meant nothing as the server wasn't seeing me as moving. Bangalore didn't start to move again on my screen until after I was about to die. This really isn't fun at all.
@XHelperZ Back when DDOSing was a huge problem, allegedly EA and Respawn set up a system to detect when cheaters DDOS players, however it seems that it only cares if a large group of players are losing connection or getting interrupted. The system doesn't seem to care if a few players are having issues, as it then just sees it as a connection issue, when its not.
Suddenly everything freezing when you're getting shot at or right when combat begins isn't a "connection issue".
From what I've noticed and been experiencing, cheaters aren't DDOSing like they used to. They're not kicking you out of the match, they're not doing it to the whole server either, they're doing it to players within close distance of them, only disrupting their gameplay, which makes it to where the player has no idea what's going on round them as they stopped receiving information from the servers.
This seems like its the case because when I start lagging like that, I can turn around and go away from the team I think is DDOSing and it suddenly stops. I can even watch the suspected team run away from the location and then I can reenter the area to find that it doesn't cause the problem anymore. However, if I follow the team to the area they went to next, there goes the issue again.
We have to keep in mind that everytime something is patched or changed, cheaters are going to find alternatives to do the same thing without getting caught, and so messing with the connection of a few players is "less detectable" than messing with the whole server. Its also possible its not even a DDOS attack and more an exploit.
During my time being frozen, the performance indicator on the top right just said FPS: 111, IO: 10/29, loss: 0/1, choke: 0/0, as my ping jumped from ~60 to ~200, yet as time went on during this frozen state, the loss count went up to 100, and it was throwing error indicators my way.
Here's the video clip of how my team's fight ended in us dying, and since Bangalore is using the Legend#### username coverup, and was the one knocking my teammates, their real username isn't going to be shown. (Which means I'd be able to show what's going on without "naming and shaming" the player). Also note that Lifeline doesn't seem to be cheating, and I used the 30-30 because I basically had no energy ammo to shoot with.
