Solo Q hell solutions

Since Respawn has decided to wage war on solo q players and has lost like 45% of its average live players I will continue to suggest solutions.

I want to say again that I can't play solo q at all it is such a bad experience at least before season 13 I could solo q in rank all the time and have decent games and recuperate loss of points from bad games. Now it is impossible you get too many -50 and -35 in solo q to risk it is unplayable. 

So most of the time I don't have a premade which is why I don't play much. It used to be a game for everyone at all times where you could just hop on after work.

Many solutions are possible but none have been tried which is really bad.

-First you could have solo q only rank system

-You could have duo rank 

-You could reduce entry game cost for solo q rank games

-You could create a Search For Group feature where players looking for a team or a teammate can

  put themselves available according to certain criterias and find those players that speak their language 

   (Call of Duty already does this for many years) because the current CLUB thing is not adequate... most

  of our club members are offline and those online often don't respond to invites plus it is locked to 30     members which means it is pretty much useless right now and only serves to add a few friends to our list

In that Search for Group feature you could also show yourself as the type of players you are ; support or fragger. Which would be great duos could look for a support player. You could also require a mic which would incentivize players to open their mic to find better more serious teammates.

  • @Palette24carats Other ideas: how about adding new mechanics? The game is pretty much staled since the launch.

    How about we could lay down flat on the ground?
    That would be way more useful than the 85 emotes you added to the game.
    How about adding ladders that you can climb?
    How about you can't punch while you are unloading a gun? (Big issue for controller players)
    How about getting more than 3 new maps in 5 years?

    Next seasons is gonna be wild. Total overhaul of the game mechanics. No shields spawning on the ground but only "xp", i.e you get exp for doing "good" stuff which levels your legend (traits) and shield. Call me a pessimist but I am just afraid that Respawns lack of testing and understanding of their own game will lead to very bad balance for most of the season

    @Balladalidilayeah it assuredly sound stupid... they spent 5 years balancing "magic" abilities in the BR mode and now they are about to throw a pandora 's box with increased radius abilities at a time where the circles are getting smaller (tiny) and increase the amount of tacticals (2 jumpads for octane) decrease the cooldown for some (gibby quicker bubble) and we are supposed to adjust to that? How are we gonna know when to expect abilities?

    Sounds ridiculous it deserves its own topic.

    So we can expect in both casual and the pro scene to have quick gibby bubbles, jumpads every 2 feet, caustic large radius gaz in the 5th circle that heals him.... wow oh wow you just f* up

    As a fellow solo queue player, I feel your pain. But I'd like to note that everything you suggested is a salve for the RANKED player, and none of it would help the pubs guys, such as myself. The only thing they could do to fix that is to alter the algorithm to stop "balancing" squads by matching a veteran player with two completely new and inexperienced players. It isn't good for anyone in the squad and essentially just wastes the match.
