Solo queue in diamond feels horrible, and more
I understand that matchmaking works with hidden MMR and the rank you see on your teammates does not accurately reflect their skill level, but once you hit diamond and start paying that -75 LP every time you queue, it's not sustainable to have silver/gold teammates, regardless how good they are. Problem is that the risk/reward for taking fights (especially early) is not balanced across team members. My teammates will often go full ape while I can't do anything about it and usually face a -75 unless I manage to ress and re-stabilize, or AFK in a corner until top 10. Why am I consistently getting placed with lower or equal ranked people than me, and NEVER higher? It feels like the system is rigged against me.
Lastly, the way the game plays is just pathetic at the moment. People aren't playing, they are looting and waiting for other teams to die out. You get punished for taking fights and "play the game", so why would you?
I'm writing this in desperation as it's so demoralizing to queue that I'm thinking about uninstalling the game and never look back. Not everyone has the social battery to find random teammates in discords or forums. We are 18 seasons in and the ranking system is STILL this unstable, and honestly it's embarrassing.
