Solo queuing and being forced to play with low levels killing my love of game

Since Apex implemented "SBMM" when I solo queue, 90% of the time I am being matched with two low level players (under level 100) with barely any kills on their legend. I have been playing this game for about 2 months and can hold my own when I am with a team who knows how to play the game. However when I get matched with complete noobs who don't know how to pick up a body shield or don't know what the ring is, I am at an extreme disadvantage. At the same time I am being pitted against pre made squads.

How the hell is it Skill Based Matchmaking if the game is pairing me with people WAY below my level. How is there not a way to make a team made up of similarly experienced players? Can't you just lump all the low level noobs together. Why am I being forced to carry people when I am not a pro and by no means can 1v3 with no help from my team. The ONLY time I have fun playing this game is if there are friends online I can squad with, but this is seldom and you can't force players to rely on this if they want to enjoy your game.

SOLUTIONS:

Get rid of SBMM because it is broken and terribly implemented. If they insisit on keeping SBMM, add a SOLO mode so I can fight against similarly skilled players and not be out matched 3 to 1. LEVEL 200 players SHOULD NOT be forced to play with a LEVEL 10 player. I am seriously considering deleting this game if this problem isnt fixed soon.

  • @deejayrivah82 It is annoying but this is kind of a silly elitist complaint. By level 20 they should have the basics of the game down and by level 30 they should be able to follow directions at least. You aren't going to have the best game with them but don't expect a consistent experience when you go solo.

The randomness of who I'll be matched with is what I love about going solo but this attitude is what I've hated the most. I'm probably making assumptions about your attitude towards new players so apologies if that's the case but either way you should stick to ranked or pre-made squads.

  • @heme725One game I may do great and help my squad and another match I may get wrecked lmao sometimes I hide my trackers and stats so nobody really knows anything... if I havnt played in a few days and im just doing awful I do this anyways, another thing I started doing was showing the stats you earn by playing vs kills and damage so it atleast shows experience rather than just kills, I mean I have 304 kills on bangalore and have done over 100k damage but I show that ive done 119 smoke grenades 10k ish creeping barage and 46k ish double time distance instead is what Im saying, i feel like people make judgements based off of level and kills/damage rather than experience, and this leads to negative toxic teammates, for new players... yesterday I decided to spectate after i died and eventually a squad appeared with a level 3 lifeline they had maybe 10 hp and kept saying ‘’i need health’’ for 5 mins lmao I wanted to tell them they had a heal drone so badly XD Im saying this because literally 2 days ago DiegoSaurs was also my champion for a game... so I feel like SBMM is getting more as it used to be slowly with a mixed variety of levels... Honestly ive been having fun on pubs lately I tried ranked last night and it wasnt bad but literally everyteam died instantly so everytime i gained RP eventually I would lose it unless you dropped halfway solo to get some gear and prepare for the first fight

Anyways I agree they should have the basics but I was really trash for probally the first 50-60levels (battle pass levels) until the iron crown solo event was out, that was the event that helped me start fighting before that event I never used most of the weapons like prowler hemlok triple take etc and never could get kills but after that event i was consistently getting 3-5 kills every game this is why Apex really needs a SOLO mode for improvement purposes

  • @deejayrivah82 I get almost 900 kills, the game gives me level 20/5 kills. Low players leeching my gaming experience very badly. Because I also experienced the same thing. Now I understand high kills average / professional players.
  • That is the stupidest response I've ever heard. Just because they have basics down, you expect them to run with a solo queuing level 500 and therefore going up against predator and masters 3 stacking teams????? Get some sense "guide" and come back with a logical answer.

@FaIIenAngeI777 They have to separate people below level 150 from the rest of the players.
This is good for everyone because people below level 150 will have the opportunity to learn the game and gain experience, and people above level 150 will enjoy the game.
And if everyone plays with someone who has only 100 level differences, the game will be great.
Just please separate the people below level 150 from the rest as soon as possible.
