Some thoughts about the Sentinel.
I would like to share some thoughts about the Sentinel.
The Sentinel is designed as a slow, precision-based sniper rifle that rewards accuracy and preparation. Because charging the weapon requires resources and planning, I believe its charged state should have a greater impact on the battlefield.
The problem is that after the early game, most players have Blue Armor or better. At that point, even a fully charged Sentinel often cannot create the kind of game-changing moment that its design seems to promise. Landing a difficult shot with a slow-firing sniper should feel more rewarding than it currently does.
I'm not suggesting that the Sentinel should be able to one-shot Purple Armor players. That would likely be too strong and frustrating to play against.
Instead, I think a new Hop-Up could be introduced specifically for the Sentinel. This attachment could allow a fully charged Sentinel to knock a player with Blue Armor in a single headshot, while still requiring perfect accuracy, proper timing, and the cost of charging the weapon. Purple Armor players would still survive, preserving counterplay and keeping late-game balance.
This would give the Sentinel a stronger identity without making it oppressive. It would reward skill and preparation while allowing the weapon to remain relevant beyond the early stages of a match.
Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback.
