Axle’s tactical feels like a free panic button

This feels like the same design reason why tap strafing was not allowed off mantle boosts. A huge instant speed boost should require commitment. I do not want tap strafing removed from Axle’s tactical, but she needs commitment before activation. She shouldn't just throw it at her feet and immediately dash away.

For almost 70 days, tons of people have been complaining about Axle and her tactical ability, although in my opinion, her ultimate is also too OP.

Why? Because if you decide to shoot down a drone that has too much HP—and when you want to shoot Axle—suddenly you don't have time to reload. When you shoot Axle, the drone will immediately launch you into the air, and you die in a split second. No matter which option you choose, in open spaces in 90% of situations you die because of it.

For almost 70 days, Respawn didn't give a **bleep** about players complaining about Axle, which is why we're back to the situation where a huge number of players are leaving the game, as evidenced by the statistics.

Yeah, I agree with what you described. Her ultimate is broken too. I didn’t bring it up because a lot of people are talking about it.

To me, her ultimate feels like one of those abilities with a bad core design. Even if it gets nerfed to the point where it is no longer OP, it would probably become useless instead. It's like Seer’s abilities, where they were either extremely annoying or basically useless depending on the numbers. That is why I think Axle’s ult needs a rework before it becomes another long-term balance problem.

Also, I think it is obvious they haven’t nerfed Axle that much because the Cyberpunk event was coming. So I don’t expect any real changes until weeks after the Cyberpunk event is done. 

Major changes will likely come in Season 30. There's just one problem.

Respawn is TORTURING player base with these balance issues, which sometimes last the entire season.

Normally, I'd say Respawn will be able to learn from them for the future, BUT...

They're repeating many of the same mistakes from the past.

I agree her tactical is way too over powered i feel like i shoot at an axle and within 5 seconds they are across the map.

I can't disagree with you. I despise the legend and her abilities. But I feel like you've chosen an odd way to come at her tactical. Most of the criticisms I've seen center around her speed being used to appear out of nowhere, one-clip, and then speed away as fast as she came. And she offers the same to her entire squad. But I've never heard anyone criticize it as a method of escape. There are, after all, a LOT of legends who can almost instantly escape an engagement with either their tactical or their ultimate, or sometimes both.

In the end I'd have to say that Axle is the poster child for the new Apex. Faster and completely mobility-based. Motion was always king in this game - now it's motion with speed. But you also have Valk, Alter, Wraith, Ash, Octane. (Who am I forgetting?) Any of them can reset the terms of an engagement or end one completely, if it isn't too late in the match. So not sure why this particular aspect of Axle's kit is such a deal-breaker.
