I know smurfing is bad, iam diamond, i made a new account to play with my friends ( silvers and golds ).
Its hard when i go main account with them cuz we queue on high skilled match ( if u premade team u will queue on highest skilled match)
Now iam plat on 2 account, so now they can play with this rank.
" Go play casual " there is no SBMM on casuals so u met with more diamonds and predators in there...
I feel bad for this, cuz i can see, sometimes i lose against hardcore 20 level players, but what can u do, just go to another match and keep going.
I did start playing apex in 2 months, it was not aesy to get out of gold, it was harder to get out of plat, but now iam diamond, i was matching with smurfs too but i didnt give up, now i only met with predators smurfs but its okay i guess.
@NikJSt So you are Diamond and you made a new account to help your friends reach Diamond too. That's nice but what will happen when your friends reach Diamond 4? You will have to go back to your main account and you guys will play only basic matches because ranked will be too hard for 3 pseudo Diamonds to play with real Diamonds and Predators, right? 🙂

If they can reach to Diamond, its maybe cuz they are skilled enough to reach Diamond, i am not pro player to carry 2 golds to Diamond rank.
If Casual actually had SBMM, iam sure there will be less people smurfing.
Random matchmaking in casual and minimum required level of 50-60 for ranked would literally remove all incentives to smurf. Everything * we see now in the game, like bad Plat4 players who's real skill is more suited to low gold, and highly skilled smurfs in bronze or silver, happen because of Respawns way of designing this game.
@BabbediboopiI do want to see random match making again, Idk wth one of the last matches was that I played though but it Literally put Neenie on my team... Neenies a badass predator wraith with 400 wins and can solo pretty much every squad (i spectated him when he killed me about a month ago and he won solo) I dont understand why it put him on my team though if Im no wheres close to his skill level... almost felt like SBMM didnt exist lol maybe this is why I was on a major losing streak because I got promoted somewhere I didnt belong like a month ago, idk but the match didnt seem that bad until literally 3rd partied from every direction... we were in the middle of 5 squads so naturally me and my teammate got wrecked but Neenie stayed strong lol

So you "The great Diamond player" made a new account "NOT TO CARRY YOUR FRIENDS", just to play with them and they are - ( silver-gold ), I'm Diamond too and I'm playing basic matches with two friends (bronze 4 - 120 lv and bronze 4 - 201 level) and we are playing against normal players so don't go out with this - " Because I'm Diamond we're in lobby with Diamonds". PSEUDO DIAMOND.- @Monacoian @NikJSt has a valid point, with the current SBMM those higher skilled players are unable to play with lower skilled players because they would have to 1 v 3 every single fight against players there level or better if they are carrying lower skilled friends every game, but I still think smurfing should not be allowed, ive mainly been seeing smurfs in casual, but if the smurfs are in ranked mode aswell it creatives a unfair ranked enviroment through the lower ranks until they get promoted enough, im a main but I am kinda in a smurfs situation in ranked mode because Ive never really played rank mode I farmed til gold in season 2 but im still in silver from the demotion I did a ranked match and obliverated everyone in the final 3 lol, but this is the point Im trying to say if your a higher skilled player in lower ranked matches its unfair for all the other players, its similiar to the same issue as plat/diamonds are unable to reach predator because they are being stopped by predators but on a lower scale they are being stopped by smurfs mixed in with their skill level opponents

@Hyuugajay0515Imagine posting a response to someone in a thread that's well over a year old (the user you're talking to hasn't even posted on the forums for a year) and referencing a legend being hard to shoot that isn't even the smallest hitbox in Apex anymore. Your iq must be so high...
Smurfing is the communities response to SBMM.
Its not a proud thing to do but a necessary one after wairing for SBMM to get fixed with no changes.

how could u establish the difference between someone who is a smurf and someone who is new the game but naturally good?
