@audiofilomx‘’Controller players don’t know how their aim assist works’’ right from the start you are spitting out nonsence...
The problem isn’t the controller players (who play with a controller every single day) its the mouse and keyboard players who have absolutely no idea how a controller works and cries out that its aimbot, most of yall havn’t used a controller on apex legends a day in your life and know absolutely nothing... I believe I know how my aim assist works considering Ive played since season 1
It dosn’t automatically follow strafe patterns for you... this isn’t grand theft auto 5 or FarCry where controllers literally have aimbot... on apex legends and other games like fortnite, rogue company, warzone, etc you actually have to try and aim with the controller it doesn’t just magically do it all for you
I see what your saying about close range early and late game but on Olympus especially most gunfights are mid-long range and Im constantly getting sniped and no scoped by mnk players and can’t really do much to fight back because I can’t snipe to save my life with joysticks but ive played on mouse and keyboard a few times and its so much easier to hit those precise shots with a sniper while on a controller its so hard to get that perfect sensitivity its always too far or not enough atleast in my case... I can watch backoffmyjankz snipe constantly lol
- 5 years ago@FaIIenAngeI777 I played on controller since i was a kid, i used to play on xbox then switch to PC 2 years ago, apex 's aim assist is insane, you can't feel it anymore because you're so use to it, try to play without it, then turn it on again, you will feel how pulls your aim towards enemies and how reacts to their movement, it's not just a simple slowdown, if it was just that, m/k players shouldn't have any problems, because we should do just an insane straifing and that would totally mess with the sticks because of their limited accuracy, but no, even if you're straifing so hard, you will be lasered with perfect aim, even top 500 m/k players will miss some shots if the enemy is moving so fast, above average controller players don't miss. And if a "just fine" controller player can match and even surpass the aim of a top 500 with half the effort, it's a problem.

@audiofilomx You could be right about controller players being too used to aim assist to notice it but the rest of your statement is what makes controller players dismiss you.
We've gone up against other controller players and there were MANY missed shots so we have no clue what you're talking about. It's easier for us to fight close ranged than at a distance but most of us dont magically land every shot even with aim assist.
- 5 years ago@Zamaha400 everyone have their own servers because of SBMM, i play on PC So only controller players with a lot of confidence join the crossplay experience, and i have a K/D between 3 and 4 every season[master/pred for 2 seasons], so the quality of controller players on my lobbies is above the average, all of them are between level 50 to 300, not even lvl500, but all of them will one clip you, or land above 150+ like nothing very very consistently, not even top m/k players are that hard to deal with, my pubs are harder than my pred/master ranks, only because above half the lobby is filled with controller players.
