Suggestion for post Level 110 BP incentives

This has probably been suggested already a while back but I'm dusting it off and throwing it back to the front in light of all the recent concerns.
On the AMA the devs hosted one of the concerns with the battle pass was players finishing it 2/3 way through the season. I get that their perspective of things (all other theories about monetization aside) is to keep players engaged and give them a reason to play through the entire season as it's good for the game's "health" to have a constant and busy community of people actually playing the game.
This comes with what should be a "symbiotic" relationship with players via the battle pass. We get a good deal on cosmetics and other fun stuff and they get to give us a list of things to do to keep us engaged. It's a win-win generally speaking.
The issue that has come to light here is that when we buy the pass we don't want to be coming down to the wire to finish the darn thing and potentially NOT get what we feel like we've paid for. So adding to the grind is a poor way to do this, making the battle pass itself last longer is not the solution.
A possible solution that has been proposed is, once we're done with the battle pass. Drip feed us something that we can use - Crafting materials. I'm not saying to do much. Maybe 5 crafting materials for what WOULD have been a battle pass level before reaching 110. This way we still have incentive to play to start earning materials or something else that is of value and that would give a bit of extra incentive to play past completion of the battle pass ( I play past it myself when I make it but being able to start racking up some materials would be more incentive to finish and continue playing afterwards).
Just a thought, what does everyone else think?
P.S. to any Devs out there, thanks for being awesome! Thank you for your community engagement in spite of knowing that you're engaging a bunch of disgruntled players. I'm enjoying the heck out of Season 7, BP grind aside.
