@BBY_YOD4 Only that Caustic gas can can be easily destroy long before it was fully deployed if you even plan to place it in the middle of gunfire. Do you even read the patch notes from June 23, 2020?
Plus, lot's of legend already counter it very hard.
Lifeline can get care package with high odd of getting digital threat.
Crypto could destroy all those trap.
Bloodhound can scan and unveil those trap.
Wraith can sense nearby trap and alert teammates about it.
Wattson pylon can counter Caustic gas grenade.
If you get destroy by Caustic, you probably using legend that received additional damage such as Wraith, Pathfinder, Lifeline & Wattson while facing him alone. FYI, while Caustic have big hitbox, he also have Fortified which reduced damage intake up to 15%.

The only actual counters are Bloodhound, Crypto and Wraith. With wraith being an indirect one, because it happened many times before that wraith's interdimensional friend did not say anything about traps when I was clearly about to run into them.
