Suggestion: Unique Glider Perk for Controller Legends

Hi Apex Legends Team,

I’d like to suggest a new class perk for Controller Legends: unique visual gliders for each Controller character.

The idea is that Controller Legends could get a special gliding animation or device, similar in feeling to Lifeline or Horizon, but balanced as a Controller class perk. It would give them more mobility value without directly giving them combat speed or damage advantages.

For example, Caustic could use a gas-powered drone to glide, Wattson could use an electric propulsion device, Rampart could use weapon recoil or mounted tech, and Catalyst could use her ferrofluid in a unique way. These would be cosmetic or movement-focused only, with no damage or extra combat effects.

I think this would make Controller Legends more attractive as a class, give them more value when rotating between positions, and also fit very well with the lore and personality of each Legend.

    As a Caustic main, I don't like this idea.

    Of course, it's true that controllers are significantly behind the rest due to the movement meta. However, I still believe that the movement meta needs to be NERFED SIGNIFICANTLY, not constantly buffing all the movements, which are TOO MANY.

    If we add something like this to controllers, skirmishers will immediately chime in, claiming that the idea of ​​this group of legends has simply disappeared because everyone has some movement ability. The result? They'll want more buffs for themselves, and the movement itself is already too powerful in this game and needs to be nerfed.

    That's my opinion - NERF THE MOVEMENT META SIGNIFICANTLY.

    The entire Skirmisher group + Valk (excluding Pathinder and Ash) needs nerfing. And that will only help the game regain some of its "healthy" gameplay.
