Team Based Alternative Passive skills / skill modifiers.

So I was watching youtube and a Valkyrie player flew away, and I don't know how but there were Bangalore smokes in the air when they flew away. Maybe she was hit by someone, couldn't see.

Anyway, this made me think of the skills you get to choose from when you level up your armour. What if there were skills you could choose that were influenced by your allies?

I understand that this would be A LOT of skills to program if it goes for individual skills like the above.

I.e: 
VALKYRIE:
-Bangalore: Launch into the air under the cover of smoke.
-Bloodhound: See tracks from the air during flight
-Seer: When linked up to Seer before takeoff, gain heartseeker-vision.
-Fuse: Drop a series of grenades after takeoff.
-Lifeline: Gain life regeneration while hovering before takeoff.
etc. etc.

So something simpler to start with?
Classes? 
You could argue that you have that with the "scan beacons"  and "open chests", but that is not active, and also in my opinion - very uninspired.

Could it be a grey tier thing at the start since you removed red armour perhaps, but it levels up as your team mates level up their armour?

ASSAULT:
Damage reduced by x%-y%-z% per shot when facing the enemy (taking shots to the front).
SUPPORT:
When healing, allies within x-y-z meters gain A% that amount.
SKIRMISHER:
Hitting the an enemy of the same team within x-y-z seconds as an ally increases your movement speed by A%-B%-C%.
Hitting an enemy of another team increases your reload speed by x%-y%-z%.
CONTROLLER: 
Staying withing a-b-c meters of an ally increases cool down by x%-y%-z% per ally.

The above is obviously not some final megabrain suggestions and may be wildly broken. It's the idea.
