The Apex legends community is extremely cancerous and disappointing.I know this statement is a little strong but i'm really getting close to uninstalling the game. I've had at least 20 encounters were two people Q'ed together then when i get downed or die the let me die or don't respawn me. Now you may be saying that this is merely a response to my own actions but you would be incorrect. I have on file many Xbox live messages were the person merely said they didn't need me in the squad and the result was my game play experience being meaningless. I personally feel as if this problem could be resolved with an out of combat ( i stress the out of combat part) self revive were if you have won the fight you can immediately respawn yourself as long as you have enough time left over. Another more easy thing to do would be to simply add a duo and a solo game mode. it's extremely infuriating to see these people simply wanting to play duos which results in a waste of my time. To conclude the Apex community in its current state requires a lot of work due to a rising amount of problems.

Make ''I need to make my main legend's banner better'' your goal when you're playing solo. If you die and don't get help and you see they're clearly not gonna help you, just leave the game with the clear consciousness that you had fun, did your best, and they're Melon Farmers. xD

I don’t know what your banner looks like but I’m fairly certain that if it has high profile badges your situation would not/would occur less.I personally also play on Xbox and never have I gotten such a msg. I have been left before. Sometimes due to another team being present and sometimes just due to my teammates being noobs who just ran away while I got backstabbed. But usually I’m the one carrying teammates and if I get downed they try to revive, even when it’s detrimental for them and alot of the times I’m like ‘no no no don’t revive me, get away’ or ‘shoot first’ and I’m surprised that they are actually able to revive me.I can imagine how frustrating it can be to play like that tho. Hope the experience gets better.

@Koochi-Q Oh no, it's not about this happening less or more, when you have a cool banner. It's about like, the objective.I focus on getting kills/badges so if my teamates are toxic/don't help me, I don't get frustrated over it. It's just a thing to be focused on, really. :D

At the end of the day I think it's all about communication. If you wear a headset and communicate well you'll often find players being more receptive you. Even just with pinging, showing your team what you plan on doing ahead of time can be really great.Not only this but just being friendly in every scenario, even if your team-mates are a bunch of headless chickens, just being kind and patient can be the difference between getting a res and not getting a res.

@Zriyvhriex, well I misconstrued your msg in that case xD. I still stand by my statement tho. It’s unlikely ppl will leave you when you have the Triple Triple (kill all 3 members of 3 teams in 1 game, 3 times) badge or the 20 kills in 1 game one. Folks will be at your beckoning :P

Honestly, you must have been very unlucky to meet such people! Yeah, I've met some unsavoury players too, also on Xbox, and the PC is just a million times worse, but I've also found some great people to play with. Just keep on gaming 🙂 And yeah, it can be really depressing when someone sends you messages like this. Just don't let them get to ya - you're better than that! Good luck!

I focus on getting kills/badges so if my teamates are toxic/don't help me, I don't get frustrated over it. It's just a thing to be focused on, really. :D

This isn't a problem with apex alone I'm afraid, where there's PvP toxicity is usually not far away and the main cause of this imo is bad player experience. Basically you have situations like the current matchmaking system in Apex (or rather the lack of one) which dumps all different types of players into the same team for the sake of having a full team even though those players usually have a huge skill gap between them meaning low skill players are going to be constantly getting killed and become upset because the high level kept rushing into fights while they were trying to learn the game or whatever and the high level would be upset because his teammates were unreliable. Eventually these experiences would make even the calmest of us a little toxic if we're exposed to such situations frequently enough and ocfourse that's exactly what happens, game after game, disappointment after disappointment and all it takes is a small spark to start a fire in the lobby.

I would say what some random captain obvious always says in posts like these which is to "play in a premade team" like no * buddy you think I didn't think of that? But of course being a solo queue warrior I know how hard it is to find like-minded people to play with, specially if you don't have a mic, so all I can say is c'est la vie

Okay, forget the banner, it's like. ''Play the game without minding people so you don't get frustrated, focus your attention on the game, not the players'', that was my point from the beginning. Thanks for the talk though, you're awesome! xD

@Cabowse Oof, one of the ways to not get toxic teammates was to mute incoming voice chat, for me.
For some reason, whenever someone talks in voice they end up being the most toxic/unfriendly in my games. =.=

I admit that me and my friend do this sometimes. Every member of a squad is important in my opinion, having that extra man can win you battles and matches regardless of the skill level but with that being said, we have and likely will again leave that third man to his/her fate but not without a good reason for doing so.
If we're in the endgame and we have superior positioning and that random third person decides to jet off on thier own and die then I'm sorry but we're not giving up the superior, potentiallly game winning positioning to come and rez them. That person WILL be left to die, it's that simple. It sounds harsh I know and generally if a squadmate goes down in or after combat we will rez but most certainly not in late game situations like that.
The same can also be said for early game too. If that random third person decides they're a fkin hero and starts engaging in combat when we've got no armour and nothing but a mozam then yeah sorry, we're taking our time to get some gear so we actually stand a chance and if you die it's on you. Sure we'll respawn you when we're comfortable but we're not rushing on over. Just because that third person might have what they need to start fighting doesn't mean that the other squadmates do. I can't even count the amount of times where I've pinged "I need a weapon" only for it to be ignored and for a suadmate to start battling it out with another three man squad thinking we're going to have thier back when all I've got is fists and no armour.
In certain siatuations we'll leave that third person to die, it's just how it is, as harsh as it may seem.
