The Spitfire needs a nerf
It's pretty embarrassing the fact that every low skill player rocks it... It's so stupid the fact that has 55 rounds. Its too broken. You can one clip a full squad and have a few bullets left. I thin...
This gun has been broken since day 1, but now it seems like every single player runs it. An extremely helpful nerf would be to reduce the mag size of each mag for the spitfire by 5-10 and reduce the damage from 20 down to like 16-17. This gun just hits way too hard and it is entirely too overused in high rankings I just hit diamond and all I run into are people with the spitfire spraying and crouch spamming at me until i'm dead because you can't get away from the guns mag capacity.
it is a lot about positioning.
spitfire hits like a truck, but you are basically unable to move while shooting,
making you an easy taget to hit. spitfire really has lots of downsides tbh.
positioning doesn't really matter when the spitfire does so much damage
The spitfire is absolutely more broken than the R301 in fact I would say that the R301 is the only "balanced" weapon in the game currently. I am not the only who feels this way either there have been pro players saying the same thing.
They gave us a broken gun what do you even mean? This gun has been broken for ages and actual pro players have said the exact same thing
A mag nerf would be huge but it would be really nice to get a small damage nerf as well

controller players dont really need to move because they wont do it anyways.. they just beam the * out of peoples so they out dps mouse players with it
Magazine nerf is all it needs now.
no one bat an eye when the spitfire was completely normal with 18 damage per shot because the Wingman hit like a truck, the Hemlock (before it was nerf) was overpowered but no one realized it until the big bad pro player complain about it and the Flatline is better at close range
suddenly, a +1 damage per bullet with the downside of +30% more reload time and people lose their nut. chill bro, they are just trying to shake up the meta or indirect buff to the garbage Rampant, no need to sjt on your pant
The spitfire is what 19 damage a shot with like 55 bullets with purple mag or whatever and even more with rampart. I don't know how people don't see this being a huge problem. Large damage, loads of ammo, and a pretty okay fire rate. I think headshots are like 32 or something but I think to fix the spitfire to make it more of a balanced weapon is to reduce the body damage by 2 effecting head shot and leg damage as well and also having the ammo capacity reduced by at least 8 bullets. It's literally a overpowered weapon like I think I'm seeing more people with the spitfire than the mastiff. Sure isn't Mastiff Legends anymore but now Spitfire Legends.
@zombieshoota50000 its not even overpowered, I dont understand why people want to nerf everything into the ground on this damn game. We only have like 2 LMG's in the entire game and L-Star is trash so by nerfing the spotty you might as well take out LMG's.
@FilthyOpossum I'm fine with a damage nerf or even a rate of fire nerf but a magazine nerf? No. Doesn't feel like a LMG once the ammo capacity gets too close to a SMG.
I'm just tired of listening to spitfire spam all game every game. Mute the gun so I can hear what's actually going on instead of someone spray-and-praying.
Theres a lot of people on here saying that the Spitty is not OP and it makes me wonder what game you guys have been playing. I used the spitfire on ranked with a controller with all purple attachments and a 3x hcog and i beamed whole teams left and right and i had no downside to my positioning which by the way basically didnt exist anyways as i was standing out in the open like a clown. I even saw a comment say that the lstar is trash but it isnt it just has a really low pick up rate pick the gun up get to medium range from someone and then tell me that the lstar doesnt fry. Thats not what this is about tho the spitfire needs a SERIOUS nerf
No matter what anyone says. The spitfire with the current bluffs to its damage and accuracy needs to toned down a bit or put in the care package with the mastiff and buff it back up to what it was before. This game was at it's best when first released when it came to fun and balanced gunplay.

When exactly someone buff Spitfire accuracy ? From where the hell people are getting this stuffs? How exactly spitfire accuracy was changed?
People start complaining about every gun they are getting constantly killed. Spitfire was not used much, but since ir receive a +1damage buff, people are using it way more often, and people are getting deleted by it way more often, and thats why they come here and start complaining about.
Its that simple.
And Spitfire have many drawbacks.
If you don`t see them or don`t know how to play against Spitfire, then its on you.
While ADS-ng with Spity you are pretty much a tree. The fire rate is very very slow, its even slower than Alternator and L-star ....
It has one of the worst Iron sights in the game.
Recoil on hip-fire its kinda unpredictable, even if you know how to control it, some shots are just not going on the target.
There is plenty of play against Spitfire, you just need a bare average game knowledge for god sake.
Tired of people going straight at the open, get deleted by "x" weapon, and immediately start complaining to nerf the "x" weapon.
In a certain range, and in the wide open, you are supposedly to lose the gun fight against Spitfire, and other LMG like Devotion.
Flatline is super strong, should we nerf it too ? Cause this will be the next weapon on the list to complain about.
Previously was Volt and R99. Now they are not used that much(wasn`t people that were complaining about them, wanted exactly this, a diversity?), and people quickly jump on the next thing.
I always switch Spitfire for either Flatline or Wingman if i going to play a heavy weapon.
If you are constantly getting deleted by Spity, then there is obviously huge problem in your game. Firstly - your strafing form is bad, and secondly you don`t know how to position yourself and you are living yourself way too much in the open.
Improve on this, and Spitfire won`t be so much of a problem.
