@DeathRaven_1983 If no one knew the game better then them self then they would take the time to see how players really feel about their crazy changes. This season flat out was a bust with more complaints prolly then all other seasons combined. Not many at all enjoy this season or remotely want to even entertain it. They went off the deep end with the massive changes they did. It will turn the game to lower population.
This is a feedback forum. People post here only because they don’t like some aspect(s) of the game and want the game to improve in that area.
People that are enjoying the game usually won’t intentionally come here to say they love it. That’s why you have an illusion that majority of the player base don’t like Season 6.
You might think that the apex subreddit can represent the consensus of majority of players because there are over 1 million subscribers there. But even if all of them post regularly there (which is very unlikely to happen), they are only 1/50 of the entire player base. In no way they can represent the consensus of the majority of players.
- @DeathRaven_1983 I do not even touch reddit i go by the thousand + posts and topics and replies given from season 6 a lone that 98% show a dislike. I do not care what reddit users say or think. If they truly dislike things we come here where the community managers are relaying the messages back to the devs them self.
not at all saying they dont see reddit stuff but they are no use to us on these forums who are willing to come here and say they dislike or like.
You may check many posts of players who came to this forum to say they like,love,enjoy the new season just as you do the complaints. So yes players will come to this very forum and say they do enjoy it a lot. As hundreds did.
A lot players dont waste their time on forums is because their mind is already made up they dont need forums. In fact i went 6 months playing before ever logging into these forums at all till i decided its time to voice my opinion as a game dev myself with concerns i see to be legit issues.
The game honestly needed no new changes to a map it needed no holo displays. What this game did need was foot steps fixed-Cheaters dealt with-3rd party users removing recoil and granting them self aim assist on mouse and keyboard. These are the 3 biggest topics on these forums. Yet none are ever addressed even after 6 seasons. The simple point here is that the health reduction was not needed, and has made the game far less enjoyable. I’m not saying anything about the rest of the season, I said that I enjoy the new legend, map, and gun changes, but the damage didn’t need to be changed. TTK is just way too low. Getting third partied is literally a death sentence, there’s no more getting by with popping a shield cell and somehow dropping a whole squad with full health because they shoot you three times and you’re dead. If only apex actually read these posts and cared lol
- @SorryForThaSauce Yea ironic they made it so people dont 3rd party as often. But if i hear bullets even in white im rushing them for a very easy 2-6 kills. They already hurt bad 1 bullet boom dead. This made third part that much easier to run into and wipe everyone in the path out. One good thing about it thanks EA for the easier kills and team wipes. =D
One thing I would of done myself instead of removing the hp i would added that on whats here already. For quite few reasons. This will allow players to possibly be able to survive a third party but also maybe a 4th party. This would also allow players to be able to achieve their damage badges when being placed in very swet lobbies out of their skill levels. They need that advantage. I watch new players browsing twitch going to random channels inviting them to play. I can say they are very iffy on playing with me because of my level and pred. But i also explain im going to help you i will teach you but i wont carry you. You will learn to play correctly so you can earn your things correctly. With that being said for a new player being placed in lobbies with people like me even if not partied with me the extra HP can go along way for these players and even very advanced players. Allow people to earn some badges that they would not ever be able to obtain with these hp changes until they learn to just run the map listening for guns to run on.
Moral of this grant it as extra hp not reduced hp.
