So, this game is loads of fun. I think.But, what is the absolute stupidest thing ever is third partying. What I would really like is once my squad downs 2 or more of another squad, and that squad is eliminated (either by us or another squad killing that third person), revive all fallen members of my squad, and give them full health and shields (if equipped).It is seriously so pointless to even try to fight when another squad comes rushing in to cleanup what the first squad did. Many times, players just leave the game when that happens. But seriously, do something to make it harder for third partying to occur. It just ruins the entire game.

Bit condescending to jump straight into picking apart the grammar of an answer, but I digress.What happens when you finish you're fight, revive you're team (with full health) and come up on a team who just finished there fight without anyone getting knocked? Suddenly you're team has full health despite objectively having done collectively worse in you're gunfight.How is that fair?

@SolitaryMassacreI think your looking at the situation the wrong way. When you drop into a match, your not dropping into an honor bound duel with an equally balanced team. What your dropping into is a predator vs. prey scenario where your 2 teammates and you are up against 57 other people who will stop at nothing to take you out of the game.With that being said, your right, it is very difficult to take an incoming fight when your weak and your team is down. That's kind of the point though. What you should be looking at, is what put you in that situation in the first place. If you don't have time to revive your squad, then you likely either let the fight carry on too long, giving other teams time to follow the sound and get to you, or you likely were ambushed on rotation, or chose to engage with poor positioning.Whatever the case was, this is a battle royale, which means there will always be third party kills. Next time you get wiped by a third party, take a few moments before you jump back into the que to reflect on the minutes leading up to your death. Were you paying attention to your surroundings? Did you make sure you had cover before engaging a fight? Should you have disengaged and fled when the fight started to go south? Was it turning into a low damage poke-fest that could have been shaken up with a position change?Game sense takes time to develop. Just keep at it and learn from your deaths.

Look at third partying like this. If someone is earning tons of money easily, you would probably join them right? You are also third partying, but when you do it its ok right. You cant stop third partying, but they can decrease distance of gunshot sound.

@PurisMarts Okay then lets just cap the max health and max shields to 25. Cause that is what you get when you revive someone. Whether or not you expect a third party has nothing to do with fighting your way out. I always revive before looting, my squad may not do that. But as I said before, third partying requires zero skill whatsoever.

All they need to do is decrease revive time to like 1 sec or 1.5 secs. AND/OR give shield and health by default (like gold back pack does now) and then make gold back pack give full health and full shields. I just don't understand how you think third partying is okay. Unless you are the one doing it. You literally can get 10 kills with doing 250 damage. Zero. Skill. Required.

@SolitaryMassacre #1 I don't think too highly of skill. Intelligent play is typically what wins games while skill just makes it easier.
#2 People probably have less interest in defending Third partying than looking down on unaware players. The best teams I've been a part of often notices an ambush coming and either turns the tables on them or runs away. Its hard to have sympathy for teams that can't competently defend themselves.
#3 While I feel that the risk of an ambush adds a fun challenge to the game I'm fine with trying to get rid of it. Problem is that I find half of my fights by chasing gun shots. You can't suggest decreasing the range that gun shots are heard without giving players another way to find fights. There's already too little fighting for some players so making it tougher to find the next fight wouldn't be appealing.

@heme725 Okay, fair points. Then, when an ambush happens, how is it possible to turn the tables when one squad mate is alive, the others are either dead or need to be revived? Second, running away is impossible because you leave your mates behind - not really good for a "squad based" game.

Say you revive your downed members, great, we got 25 health. A SINGLE SHOT FROM ALMOST ANY GUN WILL DROP YOU AGAIN. Next to impossible to turn the tables or run away.

If decreasing gun shot distance isn't feasible, then lets decrease the time to revive someone to like 1 second, and give them half shields(if equipped) and full health. Or just full health. Then at least running away IS possible.

Third partying is the WHOLE reason people want solo/duo play. Its so pathetic to thing a 1v3 fight is "fun."

@blkarmphoenixI completely and fully understand the points you bring up. Firstly, please use the correct forms of "your" and "you're"... 🙂

But, sometimes you have no choice but to get 3rd partied. You could be in a building defending your area, and finish off a squad, without you knowing another squad was waiting behind that rock 20 meters away. Its just inevitable. I also don't agree with "that's just how it is" because it just ruins the fun of the game. I still agree with the facts you have mentioned about it being a predator vs prey scenario. But, what is the harm in giving your player you revived full health? It's not a matter of making it equal, but simply giving your own squad the ability to make a decision afterwards. I have already played many games where I was the one alive, finished off a squad, revived my teammates, and they got dropped by another squad, then quit. Little did they know, we got 4th partied too! And the 3rd party and 4th party started fighting, allowing me and the other guy to leave the area. So, what I want is an ability to make a decision, you cannot run away with 25 health. Every gun in this game can take you out with that little health in < 3 shots total.

The points you press in your third paragraph make sense in very few situations. Other times, you literally have no choice. Not to mention, those points have everything to do with your squadmates. If I start leaving a fight, and my squadmates keep pushing, I'm not going to leave them. This. Is. A. Squad. Based. Game. Period. I think all of you are forgetting that and simply narrowing it down to a "personal" thing. You are supposed to fight and move on as a squad. If a 3rd party enters, there is no hope for your squad, yes, maybe that ONE person who survived can get away. But now its them vs everyone else. It would be better and more support the squad dynamic to have full health on revive, and a much quicker revive time. They already shorten the time frame for when you can pick up a member of your squad, they should shorten the time it takes as well to revive them.

I cannot stress this enough, third partying is way too much in this game. I literally said over my mic "welp, that was fun, love getting 3rd partied" and the other guy was like "welcome to apex". That my friends, is pathetic.

@blkarmphoenixReally? You think getting dropped means you have done collectively worse? In like 1 scenario I can see that being true - both squads have gold armor and fully kitted weapons. This game is NOT about equality as we have stated previously.

Also, who the hell in their right mind would rush a squad with full health? Full health means * all in this game. I NEVER engage with just health, always need shields first.

Also, I think that is a pretty lame counter argument. It take ages to revive your squad. Not to mention get full health and shields. I highly doubt the chances of coming up on another squad with low health is high. Not to mention, I also mentioned somewhere that the time needed for using heal items should be globally reduced. So in your situation, where a squad who is fully healed comes across another squad who just finished a fight and has say low health, if they don't heal right away, then that is their fault. Me having to pick up my team and having another squad come in and wipe us out is lame, boring, and extremely slow paced. I also laugh hysterically at your comment "...objectively having done collectively worse..." that is pathetic. You know damn right its all about loot and not about "how one collectively does".
Another point, in the situation you mentioned, that squad has the ability to make a choice, fight or flee. If you have downed teammates, there is no choice. That is all I am asking for with 3rd partying, getting enough health to take a few steps to find cover before immediately getting dropped again.

You bring up decent points, but I can't help but feel like you are someone who does nothing but 3rd parties squad fights.
