The most frustrating fact comes with a BR game it self. Its completely random.
Even when this EOMM kicks in and gets you Master teammates against bot enemys you still can land in an area only providing attachments and supplys, but no weapons. The bots players just landed one bin to the left and draw a Eva8 and a 301 from that bin.
If you have no weapons it will become a bit complicated.
In that case you ask your self how powerfull that enemy was. But he wasn't. It was just 100% rng luck.
That's BR
The only thing really need to change is to put premates in separate lobbys from solos, as even the best MMOR od SBMM can't tear this pre-made group apart to fit them into a suitable match.

No, that isn't BR. It isn't 100% rng luck. It's the lottery of the hot drop. If you don't want luck to ruin your matches then stop putting in yourself in the position of being dependent on luck. Stop hot dropping. It really is that simple.

- 3 years ago@reconzero I have long been of the (mostly unpopular) opinion that hot-dropping is the absolutely dumbest strategy for this game. It's nice to see that I'm not totally alone there.
- 3 years ago@reconzero in that case it is 66.6% rng and 33.3% that simple. And im not sure about that 33.3% at all, as you still cant determine if the "uninteresting" spots hold enough equipment for 3 ppl.

That's a good point. The answer is: it depends. It depends on what equipment is considered "enough." I always drop edge, usually without my squad, so what I find is mine. But it isn't usually anything great. It's like the song says: You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes you just might find you get what you need. I'm very dependent on charge rifle and tripletake, but I usually find one or the other. I need a 2/4 scope to make them work, but I'll use a 3 if it's all I can find. Or even a 2. Close-range guns, in my experience, don't matter. By which I mean it doesn't matter which one I have, they more or less all (fail to) work the same, and except for extended mags, attachments don't seem to make all that much difference. If I find a level 2 shield, which I always do, I can turn it into a level 3 in five seconds courtesy of the charge rifle.
This is all the long way round of saying two things: One: there's loot everywhere, not just in hot drop sewers. And Two: I think people use loot as an excuse to do something they want to do even though they know it's a bad idea, and that's drop hot. It's the lottery mentality.
