This game has too many hacker. A hundred percent chance someone/a team is hacking in Gun Run. One in every three ranked games feels like you're going against Vitaliy on Nuke. Pls fix, I know you know how many hackers are infiltrating your game. Not to mention Arenas, holy smack -- they are literally infested with horrible cheaters. I don't mind that they cheat though, it's like someone gave a bot sentience, and they spend the rest of their lives trying to kill themselves. again, pls fix.

@1unown1 Apex doesn't have a kill cam for a few reasons, and I believe those reasons are that it can't easily handle it and that what the player is doing and what we see them do don't always line up properly, so there's a chance it be misinterpreted for cheating.

@Exprress it's 10/16/22 for the past 3 days every single game I have had people cheating . I went from gold 1 to gold 2 almost back to gold 3 . I deleted Apex EA isnt doing enough and the game is unplayable.

Since my last message was marked as accepted, I didn't want to edit it, so posting again. Another problem besides cheaters is the number of smurphs in the game.There also used to been one type of smurph. which was low leveled accounts, (usually with the 20 kill, 4k damage badges). Now there's a second type which is higher leveled players who skip rank seasons so they'll end up in Rookie IV for future seasons. These players are technically smurphing as they're dropping themselves into lower leveled lobbies. Its the equivalent of throwing attacks in Clash of Clans and leaving your Town Hall out in the open for attackers. The game (Apex) is literally allowing players to ruin the matchmaking and it needs to honestly stop.

@reconzero I play on PC, some of the cheaters are console players brought in by PC players, (since console players cannot matchmake with PC players without having a PC player on their team). Some of these "cheaters", I can admit are just better players. Players who are smurphing, thus their low stats and skills make them look like cheaters.However, there's still a large amount of actual cheaters. There are pro players who run an Apex stat tracker overlay thing that tells them who's in their match, and they just see a bunch of low leveled rookies in their pred rank lobby.On a scale from 1 to Warzone, Apex is more or less sitting at a 4 or 5. We have a cheating problem, but it can definitely be worse.

The usual rushing teams dissapear and you only find teams that secure and defend locations . I played 12 hours after patch and i found none that i could consider is cheating. Fast forward a day and the lobbies where full with the same wallhacking teams.I usually spectate the people that kill me and report if needed but i dont think anything is happening against them.

Try for a few games to get some good loot and go hide somewhere , anywhere you want - the chances to be found from teams without recon are extremely high. The other part of the issue is how terrible the servers are.
If you are getting shot around edges or behind cover or in a weird way that doesn't make sense, a lot of times its due to the server lag because the game registers damage client side.
What you're seeing on your screen isn't what's actually happening, there may be a small delay or a large delay. You think you're behind cover or strafing or making some sort of move, but 2ms previously the person saw you just standing there and THAT'S what they're shooting at. They're shooting at you 2ms ago, not what you're doing now.

The problem isn't that the game has too many cheaters, it's that there's no active anticheat... there are no bans in this game... unless of course you criticize Respawn or EA 🙂

The first few days of season 16, I didn't feel like anyone was cheating. Smurphing, sure, but not cheating. Now every game is back to rampant cheating, non-stop, 24/7.

The average Apex player's logic:
After one-clipping enemy #1: GET GOOD YOU NOOB AHAHAHAH DELETED I AM THE GREATEST!
After being one-clipped by enemy #1's teammate: APEX IS FULL OF CHEATER!!!!
Yes there are some cheaters but if you honestly think that the majority of your deaths happen because of a cheater, then you are delusional. First thing you have to ask yourself: How good are you at this game? If the answer is around average, i.e you have like 1 "true" KD (without exluding your early quits) or perhaps even worse, then you must be smart enough to also realize that many players in your lobby dont need aim bot cheats to one-clip you or know to exactly where you are without wallhacks. Smurfs and bad matchmaking is the main reason for your bad experience; not cheaters.

@NerfMyAimPlz I don't think you realize what's considered cheating in this game. Yes most of the time we speak of cheaters we mean kids playing with illegal software. But smurfing is ALSO considered cheating in this game 🙂
Also if you think a master is the average player then I would agree with you about the 1 KDR Cuz let me assure you there's not a single gold rank with 1 KDR.... Yet we are talking about all tiers/ranks. Also try to one clip someone with r99 from 250m away... also try to do it with mostly headshots... I mean 9/10 headshots... and then speak about the players and the cheaters. Just because you haven't encounter many... (probably you die before you encounter them or they get killed before that) doesn't mean there are no cheaters. I encounter at least one every 3-4 games sometimes even more often. Also cheaters are not only aimbots... there are so many cheats your head will explode...

@Griminvain When we think of cheating, we think aimbot, wall hacks, speed hacks, but there's plenty of other cheats.

Just to name ones I've heard of or seen happen:

1) Soft Aimbot - Where bullets curve to hit targets and is less noticable
2) Strikepacks / Cronus / Xim - Stuff for controller that takes advantage of the aim assist
3) Spectator Viewer - An overlay that adds back the eye counter and even shows who's watching them. Cheaters would use this to know when to toggle off a cheat
4) Forced Spectation - The squad that killed you and your team, isn't the squad you spectate, instead its a team across the map, (This is unconfirmed, as in it could be a bug, but I doubt it)
5) DDOSing - Lagging the server or player's connections to gain an advantage
6) Rate of Fire - Its uncommon, but some cheaters shoot guns faster than they're suppose to, usually LMGs
7) Auto Heal / Revive - Also uncommon, but I have seen teammates regain health/shields without using recovery items, (or Lifeline's drone), and also have seen teammates back in season 2 who were knocked down and self-revived. The kicker was I opened up my inventory, and saw that they had a purple knockdown shield, not a golden one, which was noticed during their revive animation. When asked how they did it, they said "don't worry about it".

based on your previous comment i can't not think as you being way too paranoid.
You listed the most out of the way cheats out there you've "seen or heard" which suggests that you either believe straight away what someone else like yourself is saying or can't handle the fact that they just might outplay you.
