Thoughts on last Caustic buff to be reverted
To put it simply, Caustic has become unhealthy for Ranked, not to generalize teams, but the biggest reason is to reinforce a camping meta more-so than a defensive meta - even with grenades, both of the maps that will be in this season's ranked have buildings big enough for enemies to avoid them - the stronger teams have Wattson, Gibraltar and Caustic in them, farming evo shield damage, filled with gas traps inside, having to wait for the ring for them to come out, where you eventually get third partied for doing so - if you avoid teams like this, they will be the last alive that will eat you up, the position does not matter as all of his teammates can walk through his gas without issue. The end zone? A nightmare, only caustics throwing their ultimates pushing every other player out, even their own, completely toxic especially for people that solo que. I'm going to guess that Caustic's slowdown was implemented so it doesn't promote degenerate behaviour, but by giving him this buff it is completely degenerate. These are just my thoughts, my feedback and feedback from people that have been exploiting this advantage. Ranked was already camping meta, but this is too much imo.
