Can we make some kind of compermise to maybe turn 10k Legend Tokens to 1k Crafting materials not quite fair to allow a player base to get up in the 100k range because there just is nothing to use them on. Why not make use of that and utilize the value to grind them. At this point it is like what do i do with them? I have all Legends.... So why not work with community and find a way to convert them to crafting materials.
There may be. But to me still serves no purpose as battle pass levels quite nice if you do well in games. If they allowed you to transfer to crafting materials it would deplete the populations bulk count. If a player one the good streamers say has 100k legend tokens. That is 10k in crafting materials they may get 10 skins or a lot rares and whites. But at same time legends tokens are depleted as are crafting materials as they will constantly be buying stuff. Allow crafting matierals to not be as rare but even trade off that will run everyone low and want to grind for their next skins on weapons or legends. As a business man myself I look at it from customer and owner stand point. You either ignore player base possibly lose 1 player to 250k players. Or you add simple changes that will create more of a grind but in a way you want to because you get both sides of currency. Imo losing 1 player is bad for business. I am not going anywhere this is the best shooter out imo. But still make your players happy or another company will.
Myself and others have asked for this several times in the past the general response is they are working on something. I use mine to buy any skin I can in the store whenever they come up if I have the pre cursor one. Even if I don't like it. Just bought the Bangalore skin the other day. Don't use her at all anymore unless I am completely bored.
The issue going forward for a trading table is going to be amounts. The example you put forth is 10K for 1K of crafting materials. Even with buying everything I can I am sitting on 360K + of tokens.(Not sure how many TBH) but somewhere in that ballpark. I know there are plenty of people with more than I have. SO there would be a rush with that example because now I have 36K crafting material and would be able to buy a ton of useless skins that in theory are behind a paywall currently.
I in no way disagree with your wanting the coins to have value I do too. The problem will be the longer they wait the harder it is going to be to implement anything of value.
Hopefully someday my stash will have some value besides being able to hot buy every new legend as they come out.
