@Godisbullen I still don't think you understand so I will reiterate.
When everyone first started the game, many people were of the same skill level, and the semi skilled were matched with the unskilled.
At that point in time, players that were good enough to be predator and diamond class were still learning the game but were still skilled. Now, a year later, those skilled players are tired of being matchmade into their own lobbies, and are smurfing.
Turning off SBMM in unranked games just means that the platinum and predator players get matched with everyone else in EVERY SINGLE GAME. New players would be mixed with everyone from predator, to bronze ranked players.
Meaning new players and low skill players would be playing with predators. The game was more "fun and casual" because there WAS no ranked for anyone to get sweaty in.
What you are asking wouldn't actually make the game more fun, nor solve ANY issues whatsoever. Predators wouldn't need smurf accounts, however that doesn't guarantee they wouldn't just use them anyway for "fun". It also wouldn't fix predators being matchmade with new players.
The platinum and predator players would still have to play with "someone", removing sbmm on unranked would just give them less skilled or sweaty people to play with. New players that just want to learn the game would go up against flying pathfinders, dodgy wraiths, and every other hungry more skilled legend player under the sun.
Smurf accounts would still exist because some people would just think its hilarious to screw with everyone else by getting owned by a low level. Predators could play with anyone and dominate and most players wouldn't be able to beat their "casual play". Predators would have to intentionally lose or play crappy so every other legend can have their day on the podium.
If this seems repetitious, its because I really don't think you have registered whats being said (not trying to be rude mind you).
Players don't often think about this but "What would be the cause and effect of what I am asking? What would happen as a result of my request? What are all the things that would change?"
Smurfs wouldn't disappear (it would just be a way for skilled players to derp others, sad but true), other skilled plats and preds would just use their main and match with new, learning, or lower skilled players, everyone would match with everyone. It's far FAR more likely that the majority would, in fact, NOT enjoy this.
The only reason people had more fun season 1, is because the game was new, no one quite knew all there was or how to play, and players were still being gradually grouped by skill. Now that the skill bar has been established, throwing low skill players to high skill wolves is a bad idea.
Bunny hopping, directional slide changing, wall hopping, proper strafing, and any and all other high skilled movements in the game are skills most if not all high skilled players may have learned. Think about all a skilled player knows being pitted against all an lower skilled players ignorance or inability to perform.
No. It would not fix anything. It is far more likely to make the majority of the playerbases matches hell or extremely frustrating. Smurfs would exist no matter what, and the same issue but in some respects worse would be happening.
