Again you're not being stunned. You can get out and dodge, plus the amount of warning time on gibbys and bangs ults is pretty high. It's not at the same level of valks, if you get hit by 3-4 of valks missiles you just got 60-80hp damage plus a stun-lock which will kill you.
All I'm saying is it needs to be ult, if we're keeping the stun-lock. Other wise remove the stun and treat it like a knuckle cluster.
@Mad_Professor86Correct but if you go time it the time a gibby red circles are on the ground to the time they start landing on the ground you will see its not much different then valks timers of hers hitting the ground. Gibby and bangs ults also stun.

Obviously you haven't see valk in action, because her red circles are barely on the ground for more than a second before missiles impact for every encounter I have been in.
Again, you can get out of the way of gibby and bangs ult, and if your are hit you can still get out, it's not a stun-lock vs a stun there's a difference, stun mean you can still move but it's slow, stun-locked means you're stationary and can't move or barely move at all.

So you're able to turn 180 while stun-locked from valks, because I can't, it's like someone has turn down the mouse sensitivity to 0 and I can only move crosshair 1/2" in either direction on the screen while being stun-locked by valk or arc-str vs bangs/gibby ult where I can turn around but it's very slow mo.
You just said you only encounter her in the arena, you haven't done trios/dous or ranked.

I don't agree with that. But I respect your opinion.
Just because you can do it, doesn't mean it's enjoyable for others.
Once valk mains and pros get a handle on it, it's going to be a problem. I think a lot of people will stop playing apex because of it, along with the other problems that apex has.
I've played enough of apex to know, that this season is a dud and I don't enjoy it and I'm probably going to stop playing it.
