Vantage:
Bat jump - totally fine, as many said in previous comments people that use their head actually place the bat before the fight and just run towards the fight with bat following so you can instantly turn around and jump away to fall back if things get too crazy.
Only situation where this bat jump is kinda towards OP is when you actually push towards / chase a team, but again same can be done by Phat grapple, Wraith portal, Ash Ult, Rev jump, Octane jumppad etc. I don't see this OP either way.
Original version was too slow and also animation / jump speed was too slow = easily trackable via mnk at least so people who jumped into / way usually did not touch the ground if focused by a good team.
Ult - I don't see a need to increase damage unless you create new break-point as you call it. At the moment Vantage ult is a real threat while on white/blue armors = 2 bullets and you knocked. Which is fine for me, especially given Lifeline and Newcastle are still viable... you really need to time those shots well / enemy team should be newb enough not to pull knock back up. It is more like advantage gainer than actually killer Ult. Vs say Bang or Gibi or Balistic where Ults are strong enough to actually kill people.
At the same time I understand if you increase damage potential to 2 hit knock on purple (next step) that would be too OP.
I almost feel like middle ground where would be some over time damage e.g. saying that Vantage shoots some poison dart that similarly to Caustic's gas does damage over time in this case maybe cancelled by heal or mechanics to remove the dart (similar mechanics are present in Valorant). OR just add some additional effect like tunnel vision / blurry vision / audio hallucination (audio is bad enough but still - Respawn could apply the sate of audio that was initially in game when e-district came around to tagged people, would not require additional coding :D)
Only change I actually would like to see and what always felt underwhelming is Ult passive bonus of highlight and increased damaged = even in Diamond lobbies people rarely are fast enough to focus tagged target and do enough damage to make it work as an advantage. In most cases after first tag good players will take cover / run away to safety and most people would land random 1-3 bullets on them...unless combines with another precise Ult shot knocks after 1 tag happen pretty much never. Also tag disappears pretty fast ... useless as Bloodhound's scan for me.
I don’t understand the purpose of your response.
I never said bat jump wasn’t fine. I said it was too good. To easy to use relative to the distance travelled of the jump compared to abilities like those of Pathfinder.
And if as you say skilled players already pre-place their bat, then this recommended change has no effect, and is thus completely fine.
If you say increasing the damage below a 2 shot breakpoint has no effect, then you have no objections to my recommendation.
I thus don’t understand your comment, your entire boils down to: “these changes are all fine, because I wouldn’t notice them anyway.”
