@xXStatelessXxin my opinion when you reach level 500, you should receive 500 heirloom shards ( I feel like they would of done this the first time around but heirloom shards didn’t exist in season 3 and there was only like 2 heirlooms in the game so no way they would of gave them for free)
I don’t really see how it would hurt anything, you can say they won’t gain money but you have to remember there are 6 other heirlooms...
You could claim its unfair for the players who already own every heirloom but it dosn't mean they won’t be able to save the shards for a future heirloom
You can say its unfair for players who have already reached 500 but they could easily credit the shards to your account whenever you log into the game, like they did when they everyone above level 100 those free 15 apex packs when they added more free packs below level 100
Ive been level 500 for awhile now and still no heirloom, but honestly I wouldn’t know which one to pick because I don’t really have a main just multiple characters with about 500-750+ kills each I kinda wanna know what wattson’s heirloom would be... Ive always imagined either some sort of lightning bolt/rod or something to do with the nessy dolls but idk Lightning weapon sounds better and the animations would be awesome
@FaIIenAngeI777 Agree. Going back now and awarding heirlooms based on level probably wouldn't fly. IMO APEX should come out with another type of ultra-rare cosmetic based on the amount of time people have put into the game. Something that you can see in game. Something that has a cool animation, similar to the heirloom. Something that in not character specific and can be used with any character so you dont have to decide who to use it with. I am not sure what it could be - maybe a glove, or an armband coupled with a cool dive emote and progressive banner? Just thinking out loud, but perhaps apex should actually try to listen to the community and solicit some feedback on that type of concept.
OMG! I was just told by 2 separate support reps that every single post I have ever read regarding the chances of getting an heirloom are wrong. They both made it very clear that you are not guaranteed heirloom shards if you open 500 packs. I am in a state of shock.
Has the entire APEX community been operating under false assumptions that 1 in 500 chance does not mean what all these website says that it means? That if you open 500 packs, you may not get heirloom shards?
Holy cow. If that isn't the definition of "deception for personal gain", I am not sure what is. I am literally in a state of shock.
- @xXStatelessXx I mean, I've heard that they don't want to increase the max level from 500 to something higher because you would have to get more packs. They sadly want you to pay. Honestly, I've made a post about if they made their shop (the online shop where you can get PHYSICAL items) better, they wouldn't have to grind player's wallets in-game.
