Wattson Pylon OBVIOUSLY shouldn't destroy allies Ultimates +more

1 - Wattson Pylon destroys teammates abilities. 

I can't believe it's even a thing that friendly Wattson Pylons will destroy all Allied ultimate throwables if they are in range and even being thrown AWAY from the Pylon. 

Tell me what other Legends ultimates literally destroy your own teammates abilities like that?
It doesn't exist. Not even Cryptos Ultimate destroys your own allies traps, walls and ultimates I don't think. 

2 - Ultimates vanishing upon team wipe. 
Also there's another issue in general where some Legends abilities INSTANTLY vanish upon their death, yet OTHER legends remain. 
Please explain why Gibraltar, Bangalore, Wattson ultimates and fences remain after their death, but somehow Caustic Gas has been prioritized to INSTANTLY vanish upon his teams death?
Either ALL Ultimates need to VANISH when that team dies, OR NONE OF THEM should. 


3 - Caustic Gas Ultimate NEEDS VERTICALITY!

All other Ultimates adjust to the environment shape, whether it's a hill, a slanted surface etc. All of them except ONE! 
And that is Caustic Gas Ultimate which is LITERALLY useless as area denial if you throw it on a staircase or even on a SLIGHTLY slanted surface. 
The Gas is forced to be FLAT horizontally and instead of adjusting according to the surface of the ground, it goes through the ground etc. 
It works horribly. 
And it would make A LOT of sense to almost DOUBLE the vertical height of the actual Gas area.


4 - Caustic Gas right now is absolutely too weak
I've played Caustic throughout various seasons since season 0. And right now the gas is too weak. 

I downed a guy in a 1v3. The DOWNED GUY was able to CRAWL through the entirety of my caustic ultimate AND THROUGH TWO TRAPS and was somehow NOT finished by this!
A downed guy with 100hp, CRAWLING SLOWLY. 
This ties into the previous problem of the actual era of the gas being inconsistent, I literally watched this guy crawl through all of that as I was fighting his teammates. The gas NEEDS a buff. the tic SHOULD be 10 hp with how broken the actual hit detection is with the gas. 

The whole thing with the gas damage starting at 5 and then slowly going up literally just means people will walk through it with no issue. 
People will walk through Caustic traps AND Caustic ultimates and the only punishment they take is being slowed slightly and taking maybe a maximum of 15-25 hp damage. 
Like.... that is a pretty ridiculous range of damage for walking THROUGH AN ULTIMATE and traps.
It NEEDS to be stronger or the SLOW needs to be stronger, pick one. 

The threat of the gas almost works more as just an illusion to the enemy, meaning it only works to make them stay back if they THINK the gas is more dangerous than it is. 
Players who know it's not that dangerous will just bum rush through it. That's a very weird state for an ability to be in, that its efficiency isn't actually based on the ACTUAL function of it, but rather on the PERCEIVED fear of it in opponents heads... like what 😂

  • @Radiolariat I think Wattson fences do disappear when the team is wiped, and also Crypto's drone does break friendly Caustic traps, Wattson Fences, Wattson Pylon, and it would even break Loba's market. Anything of an enemy's that the drone can break, (including a door fortified by a Catalyst), the drone would be able to break even if its friendly.
