We Seriously Need The Cheating To Stop!

I finally joined this forum to spread the truth, about the only conversation we need to have right now, and always ongoing, until this problem is stopped, and it can be!

1 Out of 3 Cheat - 30%+ In Lobbies

Are you aware that 1 out of 3 players in online gaming cheat? Yes it's true and it's extreme!

Google 'Saving FPS Games - AI Anti-Cheat' by 'Basically Homeless' and watch that YouTube video!

Stopping cheating, is the only conversation we should be having!

Google Anybrain too, this is the future!

Yes it can go even higher than 30%.

Rhetorically speaking, what's the point of having any other conversation with EA, other than this.

Matched up against the same skill leveled cheaters, online gaming is just a waste of time.

We will never be able to achieve our full potential, unless being extremly gifted, which is a small percentage of players.

I've merged some of your posts in this thread.

Cheating is indeed a very important topic, and it's imperative that cheaters get stopped. In Apex Legends, we are directly partnered with Easy Anti Cheat.

I can assure you, that our teams are aware and are constantly working on new and better ways to prevent cheaters, as well as players gaining any unfair advantage from abusing bugs or exploits. There are constant ban waves, but for security reasons we don't talk about it often or give too much insight into our efforts. However, it's important to note that not every good player is a cheater, and there are many incredible Apex players.

EA in general is also stepping up their anti cheat efforts and is taking it very serious. Just last year, we launched our new kernel level EA Anti Cheat. It's currently being tested in FIFA 23 and more games will follow. That's not to say if it will get implemented in Apex Legends, but it might interest you regardless.

Sounds about right.

I believe it was somewhere about 5-10% few years back,

but now its atleast 20% maybe more.
Its really that bad nowadays.

Last year was the worst year I ever had gaming

and its getting worse every day.

Overwatch, PUBG, Apex, Tarkov everything is totally INFESTED.

Just went thru few hack forums and found out that EAC (Easy anti cheat) updates dont even patch most of 1st page GOOGLE hacks...

Thats very good anticheat... Unless Respawn/EA are selling cheats themselves.

As long as people keep buying their games and skins,
they will do nothing about cheaters...

Just stop feeding them and they will act accordingly. 🙂

Yes , that happens a lot in South America. I don-t know why people use cheats... those programs have a .exe and everything could be in those programs without registration.

I mean, being a pirate is normal but the truth is that over here is full of people using the famous see through walls that has a lot of viruses . If we add the ping problems well... my ping is like 44 ... this is due that servers are from Brazil and not from near Argentina.

well... what can we do? use cheats too in a bad computer? increase the war of cheaters? go to live near the server too? common... what is the target of Apex after all?

Everyone realizes that within the scope of Easy Anti Cheat implemented into Apex, EA is doing their best on this 'Level' of Anti Cheat.

If you take note, I quoted the word 'Level', meaning the solution I mentioned, EAC is no where close to the same level of technology and efficiency, and hopefully one day, EA will adopt it into all of their online games, or a similar solution, if one even exists at that point in time.

I hope we get a better anti-cheat in the future. "Easy Anti-Cheat" isn't cutting it as I saw a Horizon player aimbot, wall hack, and anti-recoil up a storm in pubs, and then saw them in rank later in the day playing like a bot, (missing shots, mostly running and looting, etc.)

Clearly the current anti-cheat cannot tell when people are cheating and from the looks of it, cheaters would go a few games cheating, and then several playing like they're new to the game to avoid getting banned even though a real anti-cheat would of caught onto them the moment they started snapping to players.

This is why I mentioned what I did, check it out, it's really interesting tech too.

It makes me feel like there is finally hope, I guess we'll have to wait and see if EA adopts this.
