What happened to apex?

Anyone who played this game since beta launch till roughly around season 5 was the OG Devs. 

Since, I would agree with this person... strickly based on decisions that have been made since season 7 to present (wallhacking meta) to mention just one aspect - I would agree. Not all decisions made since have been bad. But more than should be - It makes many loyal Apex players, think that the Devs, who now run this once great game, could be considered noobs, given some of the changes made. Or at the very least, Dev's that don't play the game, or test it for that matter. 

To each his own opinion. 

It pains me to say honestly, coming from a guy that actually hopes the game dies and wants it to... 

This season 20 is better than any season we've had since season 11 IMO. Now don't get me wrong, there are so many issues that almost make the game unplayable... however, I have played more in the last week than I have in the last year combined. The shield changes I find for me personally seem better. I love that all loot is back on the ground. The perks I don't care much for but they aren't terrible. At least they seem balanced. 

Again, I am not in any way saying the game is good again, fun or even recommend anyone to play it. Because if anyone asked me if I think the game is good again, or asked me if the game was fun or if I would recommend it to anyone my answer to all three questions is a hard - NO.

Servers are trash, never will be better, sound is still worst in any game, not just BR's, I mean any game ever made for any console, any platform, any era...

And cheaters well, we all know where this game falls in that sense. 

This game is a cash cow and nothing more in the eyes of its maintainers, owners and operators. So you get what you get when those specific types of beings are the ones navigating this games course.

Why do you even keep playing it if this is how you feel towards it?

Haha whats even more funny (or sad?) is that you see the same usernames coming back season after season to this forum, declaring to the world how very bad this game is and that they now uninstalled and left this game forever haha. I am all for having a constructive discussion about flaws of this game but this behavior is just childish

Lol, ok fellas, First off, I mentioned that I found this season to be better than many previous, and that I found myself playing more in the last couple weeks than in quite some time. 

Do I want the game to end.... yes. 

Why do I continue to play you ask? - Again day one player whom loved this game since season one as much as any die hard Apex supporter. Whom still hopes the game returns to its former glory, and continues to check in from time to time in hopes that happens. 

Why do some drug addicts, who hate their addiction, continue to use? If you can't understand this question or answer it, you have no place commenting in the first place. IMHO

Maybe asks the psychologist that EA payed to research and perform studies on how the human mind works in many specific areas such as engagement strategies and so on. Im sure they can enlighten yous on why addiction exists.... yes, especially in the gaming industry. Its also why some gaming companies have been taking to court in the past for dirty tactics. 

I have wanted to uninstall this game for quite some time now, however because of a deep love for the game, I am unable to. I am not naïve, I am old enough and educated enough and have enough life experience to know that I have an addiction to the game, I wish I could beat. However I am not strong enough to walk away. Hence why I wish it ends, so that my addiction can end with it. 

You will find, in most cases the ones that complain the most,  and are the most frustrated or voice such et cetera, are the ones that love the game the most. It stems from a passion. 

And childish was the word you used?  maybe one day when yous are older, you'll understand these above points.
