What kind of a matching system it is?

I am trying to get use to this game and praticing. But lads the matching system is disaster. I have just 3 kills in game and mostly pro players like they have 200-500 kills are always killing me and this drives me mad!! How do you expecting new players to play this game ??

  • It's a relatively new game. I see new ppl in my team left and right. Just play the game and you'll get better at it. There's 57 other people to kill. They are not all experienced in the game.
  • there is no matchmaker at the moment but they are looking in to implementing a proper skill based matchmaking system, dont listen to the people that say you just need to get better, the matchmaker needs to happen

So you're basically saying the OP should still play at the same level as when she began? I think not. And no, if you wanna counter it with 'I didn't say/infer that, just that (s)he shouldn't listen', then that would be even worse. I don't mean get better as 'git gud', but just play the game and get experience.

The matchmaking needs to be implemented yes. I said that on day 1/2 on this forum. Despite that, for now there's nothing anyone can do besides learning the game and get better at it.

you will get better playing, but that has a plateau dependent on various things, so it is not the solution to the problem, its just a temporary treatment for the symptom. the solution is a matchmaker that is as fair as possible with reasonable wait times.

underlined part is not entirely true. I've seen ppl playing the game who are basically still operating at same lvl. They just have a better understanding of the game.

I never suggested getting better was the solution, hence why I elaborated further in reply to your post. For now it's basically all one can do to have a more favorable and enjoyable experience.

I'm personally against skill based matchmaking but it's not a deal breaker for me - not because i'm any good (i'm really not), but because 10 i'd rather prioritise connection, 2) you get better playing and seeing players better than you, 3) it's sometimes nice to get into a fight with a total potato and feel like a badass even though it took you 3 clips of a peacekeeper from 5ft. Sometimes i'm that potato, sometimes i'm the guy shooting the potato- it just depends on that matchmaking in that game.

As for some practical advice for OP - Try out the weapons in the training (yes it's not  real combat experience but it is something), drop into hot zones, get early battles, seek out gun fights. You will only learn and get better through actually trying to shoot people. 10-20 games of dropping hot wil put a fire up you to loot quick and sharpen your aim. At leas it did for me.

    Happy hunting!

  • true , I am a newbie, I like the game, but someone with 1 kill has low chance of winning against a pro with 500 kills, BALANCE the game please
PS: I know it is new game and I am sure it will get better in time!

@theWonderChris You do get better by playing against people better than you. But not by playing against people so much better than you you're dead before you know what's happening. A proper skill based matchmaking will have people around your level, meaning some who are slightly worse and some who are slightly better. You fight the ones who are slightly better and improve.
