Whats the point of octane the speed demon if other legends are just as fast
Why make a legend with a back story of speed if he isn't actually fast. Also the Stims never wore off that easy it completely ignores the way they work in titanfall!!

I think the issue is that is Octane is made even quicker they would start to leave their teamates behind. Maybe if he also stimmed allies when popping his jumpad ult. but that leads to a bunch of other problems.
I agree, I think his passive should give him a minor speed boost. He should also be able to walk on walls to a certain extent (I mean it makes sense he has metal legs). His stim should take away health and it should speed boost him and his teammates if they are in his general area.
- I think that instead of buffing Octanes speed when stimming, they should give him more movement capabilities like that of a pilot from titanfall. Stuff like wall running and double jumping.
- @Dvmjh632rhd I really don't think Octane should be able to make his teammates go faster. Octane is definitely a solo-playstyle character, who really will never help his team. And I must say, that playstyle is really fitting for a large amount of people who play this game. Respawn needs to add solos.
- @s0apt0ken They already said that solos isnt coming back because 1. Apex is a team game, and solos was super unbalanced And 2 it ruined the new player retention rate
- @Westhebird What do you mean!? Solos was by far the best game mode apex has ever added. I have a bunch of friends who have said that they would start playing apex more if it had solos. Who cares if it was unbalanced, it was fun. What do you have against solos?
- @s0apt0ken They said its never coming back, not really much point asking for it. Besides the new player retention rate is really important to stop the game from dying and solos had a huge negative effect on it.
