When does the rigged matchmaking end ?

Well making a new matchmaking system isn't as simple as just suggesting a different way to do something.
Prototypes have to made and they have to be tested, next to that a lot of data has to be collected to check if it's going the correct direction.
Currently matchmaking might become worse for a lot of users than before they announced they were working on it due to a lot of prototypes that are probably being introduced.
I think it's safe to assume they're actually taking a proper stance and that they are actually going to try to fix the issue, otherwise they wouldn't put out such a blog post.
@XHelperZ As long as there are a ridiculous amount of hackers and Respawn allows smurfing in ranked, the MM will never be able to do what it is intended. How can it possibly? Do the math on it. The smurf accounts destroy the MM's intentions. Utter garbage to allow smurf accounts in a ranked system.
I played ranked last night. I am in gold 4. Saw a level 35, killed me early....spectated till the end. Watch him decimate the entire lobby. finished with 22 kills and over 5000 damage. IN A GOLD 4 LOBBY!
So while this person was allow by Respawn to smurf "for the grind" - almost the entire lobby lost RP and got their as*ses handed to them so this smurf could have fun destroying us all and forcing us all down so he could enjoy the grind for the "blank" time?

I am beta testing now xDefiant and OMG. It's such breath of fresh air, or maybe "oldies air", it's like back in time, 8-10 years back, when games were just normal. No SBMM, you can turn off cross play. And even "beta" looks like real beta - it's really work in progress and many things still doesn't work or are bugged but already it looks brighter than Apex or CoD in terms of i.e. matchmaking. And there is no Battle Royale! It's mainly concurrent for CoD (small teams 6x6, zone controll etc. modes) but it's f2p. After playing xDefiant I want to throw Apex casino royale style game through my window.

- @AreYouShivering I am playing Rainbow 6 Extraction. Teamplay, PvE, no Pvp, it is like heaven man . Progression, operator leveling, skins, gifts, perks, tens of operators each with different abilities, difficulty level of your choosing, lots of different creatures, lots of different guns and tech. Very enjoyable.
@Palette24caratsI've been thinking about getting into Overwatch more and start enjoying other games.
Apex is fun but its taken over by smurphs, cheaters, bot players, terrible servers, audio issues, no-regs, and the playerbase is getting smaller each and everyday; to the point where you just see the same players in your matches having zero skills when they're on your team, but then suddenly the champion playing like a TTV when they're on the enemy's team, (mainly see this with bot accounts).
The fact that I could have somewhat of a even skilled based match, win, and then the next game, I just get two rookies who only hit bronze IV last season, while I'm gold III, who had hit plat IV last season, yeah... no... clearly that's a rigged system. (Not to mention that the "champion" squad, is just two low levels, (from a match today), where one was a level 38, the other a level 74, and the 3rd was a masters player in silver II).
Game spends more time on remaking skins for guns and legends, and running TV ads that no one really watches, (or cares about), than it does trying to maintain its playerbase.
I had big hopes for season 16, and thought it was going strong with its changes, but nope, its only gone more downhill, and its time they start working on the actual core problems with the game, (matchmaking, audio, cheaters, smurphs, servers, etc.)
- @Midnight9746 I play Overwatch here and there. Played OW1 like crazy on release but it just doesn't hold my interest long term. Every match starts feeling exactly the same after a while & it gets really stale for me.
I am really looking forward to The Finals and XDefiant when they come out. I played the beta of The Finals and it had a lot of potential. Haven't gotten into the XDefiant beta but the YT videos I see look pretty good. Also very curious about Dr Disrespect's game; I think you can buy early build access.
I really just need something as a change of pace to Apex. I do really love Apex but it is incredibly infuriating at times due to the long running issues and I won't be spending any more money on Apex until the do something meaningful to address matchmaking, cheaters, & other gameplay issues.
