Less fps wont put you in any disadvantage on console if youre not using mouse and keyboard.
And you also have aim assist at top of that.
Im playing at 75fps with some fps drops on PC and its ok.
I think most PC players is arround 60-75 because Apex is a bit demanding game.
Sure streamers are at 300 or something, but they have RTX 3090 which costs like a car, most PC players cant afford this.
Aim assist is not what you think it is. Please note that aim assist is something to balance pc and Xbox aim, fps does not work it’s way I to that. Aim assist should not be something that is considered in the case of fps. Aim assist is not something that needs changing, at any stage of this.

I think you will barely see any difference between 60 and 120fps if youre playing on controller anyway, no matter if you have aim assist or not.Its also better to have stable 60 than 120 with drops here and there.
You want my advice ? Just buy a PC next time. 🙂
- BigMacAttack8u3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Awhoo_Thunder What I gathered from this post is in the fist bit, you say basically pc is worse than console, then you recommend a pc, this is confusing. I like my console. If they bring apex to apple computers, I will most likely play tho 🙂

@BigMacAttack8u
I said my PC is worse (less powerful) than console. :D You probly misreaded it. :P But consoles are overally worse than PCs in lot of things. You must be paying monthly subscription for playing online even if you have already bought the game + using keyboard and mouse in online games can be cinsidered cheating if its not crossplay like Apex is. Experience in gaming without mouse, I dont know, I can hardly watch YouTube videos where people play FPS games on console... + You have 120fps cap, sometimes even 60 which can be noticeable in games like Need for speed or even in FPS games too if youre using mouse and keyboard. Why did you buy Apple tho ? Its a bit useless isnt it ? :D And Also overpriced. Hope this wont make you angry or something, I just dont know what is Apple good for so I apologize in advance. :D By the way I like pears more. 🙂
- 3 years ago@Awhoo_Thunder That's utter BS. You totally see the difference between 60 and 120 fps and it is huge. Such as going from 120fps to 200 fps. You totally see the difference.
If you do not, you may want to consult with your doctor.
Don't come back with the BS "your eyes can't process to many fps". Even though it is true, go educate yourself about how to eye is actually working at picking stuff up.
Having more fps than your eye can actually process is extremely beneficial as your eyes will have the liberty to pickup on more stuff at more precise time, and experience a much more fluent gameplay.
I can't even play Apex, it gives me headache after 10 minutes and visual issues as I am playing all games either on 120fps or 200 fps.
And your final advice is completely out of the actual true question of this post.
EA games is a massive game company, and every major competitive titles support 120fps on next gen console. Who cares about fairness or aim assist or if you should have spend 2500$ on a gaming pc instead of 250$ on a Xbox Series S , who cares?
The point is EA games are lazy and it is not acceptable, they gotta provide the same standard as other game developer.. - 3 years ago
Lol PC is a joke 😭 I'd rather play at a locked 60 with higher visuals then having to put everything on low to get 90 frames on apex a damanding * games unless you play at 720 p lol stop flexing PC it's not that great lol wtf literally every apex streamer plays on low setting which is about 720p about the resolution of a switch embarrassing stuff lol
