If you go to EA News you can search on "Javelin Anti-Cheat" and read a couple of updates on what Respawn/EA is trying to do. I'm encouraged by the updates because at least it acknowledges the problem. They're also addressing the matchmaking with various "fixes." One of which is that they're finally willing, so they say, to make high level players wait longer for matches - presumably to keep them away from normal players. I don't really believe it will work that way, but again, at least they're talking about it and that shows that they're listening when we tell them there's a problem.
Yes, I see gameplay reels on YouTube all the time where I simply do not believe that the players are in any way bound by the same physics or weapon/motion mechanics that you and I are. I used to think this was just creators speeding up their footage to make it look more bad **bleep**, but that would only account for some of the garbage I see, not for all of it. Not even for a third. And yes, you can only pretend for so long that you're seeing "connection issues" or "pc macros" or "expensive strike pack controllers" or are experiencing "grass is greener" syndrome. At some point the evidence becomes overwhelming. And we're past that point.
