@StarMystro I see your point, but I can't agree with you. None of the legends are terrible, but you can't deny the fact that some are a little bit better than others.
- 5 years ago@StarMystro Revenant is lacking many things in my opinion. I feel like he has a lot of potential to be one of the best legends, but right now, he can still be improved. I feel the same way about Bloodhound and Mirage.

@s0apt0ken Revenant, does have a unique niche... his enhanced crouch allows for more "stealthy" plays, which may not exactly have a factor in "head-on" shootouts. Thus he may be more situational to that extent? Although stealth in an FPS can have the same effects as in, like, a RPG with "Stealth-Criticals" ya know? That's far-fetched I know, but it's almost true isn't it? Catching an opponent off guard can many times result in a pre-mature knockdown. His abilities, are another end of it...
Ahh Mirage! Now, maybe I could upload a short clip of a Textbook Bamboozle? But to describe it; I'm sure we've all had times where we really were fooled. Like, it wasn't a matter of shooting between a bunch of decoys- and Mirage somewhere in between. BUT; The player-Mirage is legitimately "unseen" from the view of an enemy, while the enemy is facing the decoy- or even better, chasing a decoy behind LoS! I can see where the skill-ceiling can be higher for Mirage. But I can also see where Mirage can be limited to "fooling" players due to Mirage's environment at any given time. I feel like the Developers were trying to "universalize"(?) his ultimate, so that it can be used without too much thought or planning- understandable, I suppose.
Bloodhound has some interesting effects too. His Eye of The Allfather (tactical) has gone through some adjustments since Apex has launched. Its distance/range was increased and its cooldown was decreased I believe? Me personally, I refrain from using the ability too often- so as to not give away my position. BUT, I'll see some teams use Bloodhound's Scan ability very liberally! This really puts other teams who plan ambushes at a disadvantage! (AKA, myself... as I like to use the element of surprise). His Ultimate ability now has a quicker activation period -me personally, I LIKED the slow activation because of the cool animation, but I digress from the topic. During Beast of The Hunt, it can be useful to focus in on enemies who're highlighted to Bloodhound. Many times, enemies can be overlooked due to blending in with an environment- or just be further away. This can allow Bloodhound to only take a quick glance around his surroundings, ya know? And the movement speed can be a nice boost for pouncing on weakened enemies, Plus-! The slide is more reliable believe it or not.
It's true, some of these legends have some unique quirks. I personally wasn't feeling Loba... until I started sweeping entire areas and swiping/pinging all the purple/gold loot! Although, I'm just waiting until her Tactical, the Bracelet, is 'fixed'? (I think it's still bugged?)
- 5 years ago@StarMystro I see your point. But still, these legends take more skill to use than Wraith or Octane. In my opinion, any legend, in the right hands, is extremely powerful. But Wraith's instant get-out-of-jail-free ability is just simply over-powered.

@StarMystroCrypto is least played, but is extremely useful, if they would make it to were his drone didn't hurt him i would guarantee he would be atleast my 5th most played legend. I feel like Octane could use a buff because I feel too many characters can do what he does except better.

@Ironflower196 Ahh yes Crypto is indeed under-played, atleast from the games I've seen too. His Drone requires so much planning ahead to really see some wicked payoff, but the power is there. The time spent on setting up the Drone's location and the Player-Crypto's position in relation to the Drone (and his team) can be daunting, but it certainly can open up a great advantage over an enemy. Perhaps the E.M.P. not hurting him could alleviate some stress on the player? But I'd still be in favor of atleast keeping the usual slowdown and stun that it inflicts.
Octane... is kind of a weird one. His whole character is built on speed (Not including his Jump Pad, but his Ultimate is a nice Plus/Pro- for me anyway). Speed by itself can seem a little lackluster next to other abilities that can have some "solid" or "concrete" effects that alter the Player, Enemy, or environment. When it's just speed though... it's hard to say. The speed boost has to be higher/faster than other playable-characters, so that it offers advantages that other Legends cannot; While at the same time not be overpowering.
I know the Developers already -Just increased Octane's Stim speed. Me personally, I'm lovin' it. I see arguments for removing his health-loss on activation or changing his Ultimate... but if anything... I'd say just increase/decrease the speed more or less- as needed.
