@s0apt0ken Revenant, does have a unique niche... his enhanced crouch allows for more "stealthy" plays, which may not exactly have a factor in "head-on" shootouts. Thus he may be more situational to that extent? Although stealth in an FPS can have the same effects as in, like, a RPG with "Stealth-Criticals" ya know? That's far-fetched I know, but it's almost true isn't it? Catching an opponent off guard can many times result in a pre-mature knockdown. His abilities, are another end of it...
Ahh Mirage! Now, maybe I could upload a short clip of a Textbook Bamboozle? But to describe it; I'm sure we've all had times where we really were fooled. Like, it wasn't a matter of shooting between a bunch of decoys- and Mirage somewhere in between. BUT; The player-Mirage is legitimately "unseen" from the view of an enemy, while the enemy is facing the decoy- or even better, chasing a decoy behind LoS! I can see where the skill-ceiling can be higher for Mirage. But I can also see where Mirage can be limited to "fooling" players due to Mirage's environment at any given time. I feel like the Developers were trying to "universalize"(?) his ultimate, so that it can be used without too much thought or planning- understandable, I suppose.
Bloodhound has some interesting effects too. His Eye of The Allfather (tactical) has gone through some adjustments since Apex has launched. Its distance/range was increased and its cooldown was decreased I believe? Me personally, I refrain from using the ability too often- so as to not give away my position. BUT, I'll see some teams use Bloodhound's Scan ability very liberally! This really puts other teams who plan ambushes at a disadvantage! (AKA, myself... as I like to use the element of surprise). His Ultimate ability now has a quicker activation period -me personally, I LIKED the slow activation because of the cool animation, but I digress from the topic. During Beast of The Hunt, it can be useful to focus in on enemies who're highlighted to Bloodhound. Many times, enemies can be overlooked due to blending in with an environment- or just be further away. This can allow Bloodhound to only take a quick glance around his surroundings, ya know? And the movement speed can be a nice boost for pouncing on weakened enemies, Plus-! The slide is more reliable believe it or not.
It's true, some of these legends have some unique quirks. I personally wasn't feeling Loba... until I started sweeping entire areas and swiping/pinging all the purple/gold loot! Although, I'm just waiting until her Tactical, the Bracelet, is 'fixed'? (I think it's still bugged?)

@s0apt0ken"any legend, in the right hands, is extremely powerful." -I whole-heartedly agree!! But I see where you're coming from, regarding Wraith's Tactical ability. I think we an see that many people have strong viewpoints on either side of it too...
I really like the Developers take on trying to shift its power. They used that very term too "get-out-of-jail-freecard". Ofcourse, we can all agree that we see many players use Wraith's tactical as just that. Me personally, I prefer to use it more aggressively. Not as a retreat, but as a quick Invulnerable push, towards or around enemies. I really like how they increased the activation time, but also increased the speed and duration. Although... perhaps it could use more tweaking? NOT as a nerf/buff, but adjust it to being used -less reliably- as a free disengage?Although let's face it... sometimes something can be a bit too reliable and strong. And it's not recognized until it's tested out among the players
- 6 years ago@StarMystro I agree with you. Even though the nerf to how long it takes for the ability to start up was nice, it's still not that much longer than a gun's average reload time.

@s0apt0ken That's true... I mean, I have had good times where I could reliably punish a Wraith who was trying to escape using her tactical. Ofcourse, the slowdown also helps, but all it takes is a bit of a Line of Sight blocker to give Wraith enough time to escape. No, she shouldn't be like a couch potato with no use of her tactical ability... but it should require possibly more planning/skill- given that she's completely invulnerable to any damage.
