I am an idiot who doesn't play Apex competitively or as a Pro player. I play for * and giggles and a couple of good games, but with matchmaking now, I can't play for long or win much. @AllexusGamesI have the same exact Issue with this game.
I don’t want to resort to making a smurf account, because I think smurfs are killing the game and distorting the SBMM, but to get any sort of Joy from playing APEX right now, im going to have no choice, but to, CREATE a SMURF account.
I’ve been a faithful fan of APEX, since Day 1 season 0. (played for free up to season 4, of and on again)
I purchased BattlePasses, bought Event Skins, & APEX Packs regularly every season since season 5. (as well as the timed legend skins in the Microsoft Store for Rampart(S6), and Valkyrie(S9)
These are my issues with the current state of the game.
1. I’m lvl 500, so I get NO more free APEX packs for leveling up.
2. BattlePass is usually completed 3-4 weeks before the end of each season, so all the BP star lvls they give me in trackers, as well as Daily & Weekly challenges, are a moot point/useless.
3. State of SMBB for a lvl 500, this week alone I’ve tried playing everyday, but every time I play, i’m DEMOLISHED by other players in public lobbies/trios.
- It’s been SO long since i’ve played a match that was actually enjoyable(*making the top 10, at least…*)
I have ZERO incentive to keep playing. I LOVE APEX, but I just can’t play anymore until something changes, hopefully come tuesday and the NEW season will get me back to playing again.
