@wrong_imagesI understand what you are saying. I understand the scenario or the experience you are trying to describe.
But it hasn't been my experience at all.
As Wraith I have on a number of occasions rescued my team when they were knocked by tunneling from a high and safe location to extract them to safety. They were much better than I and I was able to help them succeed where their strengths counted and I was weak.
And with Bloodhound, I literally path find a long distance for my team. I want my position to be given away. I position myself well ahead of my team to draw the enemy out. When I use the tactical, I position myself in a flank position to draw the enemy to me so my team can flank them.
I agree about recklessly using Loba's ultimate, I try to ensure no enemies are near us or we are on a high roof or platform so it wouldn't matter - they can't stop us.
And when I first started out, I began as Gibby, and immediately switched to Bang. Because my aim was horrendous, the munitions from the sky were my strength that I could contribute. It wasn't often, but it did help me a lot in adjusting to the game play (coming from Halo).
@MrGreenWithAGunPlaying this game solo is legit begging to get screwed by respawn.
Usually I play every game as solo because of the freedom it brings, but if you want fun in Apex you have to play as a trio with friends. Since i started playing with my friends the game was way more enjoyable, I would even consider it a different game.
