- @MYSTICDeacon The devotion honestly should be care packaged and I kinda miss the Alternator as ground loot
Actually the L-Star is quite the monster of a weapon in close quarters at the moment.
I miss the alternator as ground loot also.
should also be able to purchase it in Arenas again as well.
@Asmodeus566 lstar is wicked up close esp with a barrel stabiliser now on it. I do miss the spitfire a lot but recently have taken a shine to the r301, esp in arenas.
for me I use a few different weapons for Arenas as each map has some different vibe and also depending on how my team plays I will switch it up also or round to round differences.
my secondary weapon is always the P2020 or Mozam depending on challenges.
Standard first round any map R-99 or Rampage.
Second round and moving forward Flatline, L-Star or Rampage.
For the smaller maps the L-Star rocks, for the medium size maps I like the Flatline and for the larger maps the Rampage for pick dmg and flanking.
If you are not using Arc stars and or other throwables to the Max in Arena's you should be they are your friend.
The R-301 would be good for the mid to larger maps.
@Asmodeus566 I've tried a few guns in different maps. Like you r99 for round one. Then the r301 and nades round 2. Round 3 can depend on how many cm I've got. Probably an upgraded r301 again with nades if possible, but if going in for close work the rampage with 3 thermite. Any spare cm would usually go towards a p45.

I agree with you OP that the L-star is garbage right now. Due to the projectile size being significantly reduced, the recoil pattern is terrible since it was accounted for with it's massive bullet projectile. It's simply garbage to use past close range. I've whiffed shots on standing still opponents during matches mid-range. It's not surprising that people went from Volt/L-star/Turbo Havoc to now Volt/Turbo Havoc. If they were to put it into the Care Package, I'd welcome it since it's lacking as a ground loot right now unless they improve the recoil pattern.
I'd say the Devotion is fine but... it really needs a select fire mode when you acquire a Turbocharger so that you can use it mid-range. The recoil pattern is too chaotic to hit enemies at mid-range without wasting a lot of bullets or getting severely punished by semi-competent opponents. Due to the mid-range issue and the fact that it still needs to ramp up even with a Turbo, you're best using a Havoc since its nearly the same damage output while requiring less bullets. Give it a select fire for mid-range use and the Devotion will be an excellent ground loot weapon.Spitfire should stay in CP and the alternator should go back to ground loot since I miss it...
It would be nice, but we can live without it. You can keep tapping the trigger rapidly while holding turbocharged devotion - you will get slower, but continuous fire that way(you will use 48 bullets in 10 seconds). It sounds awesome and is rather controlable. In my opinion it is still easier to use than turbocharged havoc, which has stupidly strong recoil to the right with first 3 bullets. With it, single fire is practically impossible.
I nonetheless find devotion harder to use than L-STAR. It requires many attachments, turbocharger and optics to be effective. Otherwise, you can only fire from the hip at point blank, as most people do. And it can fail you.🤨
I think that alternator should go back to ground loot, it was proper, easy to use weapon. Maybe bullet speed was a bit too low, but low recoil and rather decent damage maked up for it.
The Devotion is solid awful. That gun hasn’t been good since it was in the care package.
