^ More reasons than you should need to get to the conclusion that this is a bad idea that took no time to rattle off.
Preconfigured abilities organised by character means that they can be balanced well. Possible permutations and team configs can be better predicted and balanced so we avoid a total meta across the entire game where there really only is 1 viable make-up.

It is quite good advice BYE! Community is already full of toxicity for REAL reasons we don't need extra drama over the dumbest thing I've ever read in my life. Also name me GOOD BR games aside from pubg if you considered that good, that allow character customization? Like I said only one that gets a pass is Pubg and that's only because of how popular it was.
