Why would you make it so you can't leave a ranked match while in the dropship???

I do not understand WHY this change was necessary at all! ALL IT DOES is make it so you are unable to play with friends for a game CONSTANTLY when the matchmaking is absolute trash at keeping you all...

@TCG_Maximusmfao, sort your damn head out dude. Last split I made master. I know apex is doable as a solo, in SEASON 1 I went from bronze 4 - diamond 1 in the last 7 days, AS A SOLO. Last season I went from diamond 4 to master in less than 48 hours AS A SOLO. I ain't the person for you to be talking to about "ranked" games lmao.

In ranked if a player is unable to proceed up the ranks without relying on teammates; here's a reality check, they are in their intended ranked tier and still won't be able to progress unless they get carried heavily; this is another reason why you are paired up with players from previous tiers.

My issue was posted correctly, this feature was added and nothing was put in place of it. Show me your stats? I'm pretty sure he we could happily discuss what an actual player who can solo games looks like.

EDIT: FYI THIS FEATURE WAS PUT INTO PLACE AND HAS BEEN STEALTH PATCHED. Maybe once you get out of plat by getting carried by your teammates you'll finally understand the logic behind my post.

@MoNosDirtyGaming You clearly have something wrong, your saying you are in diamond but you never have a team? I find it hard to beleive that you are the best player alive. Apex legends is a team game if you leave games before you are dead and have no chance of being respawned then you are ruining it for your teammates. If a ranked player is unable to win without any team, not even randoms then that does not mean they are bad.

    @Westhebird lmao who said I never have a team? and I never said "I am the best player alive". I explicitly explained I solo'd on my way up. You insinuated, just like the other dude. Apex legends was originally planned as a team game yes, but it is still very doable as a solo. Remember the gold shield being able to heal you fast? That got taken out because it was for solo play, and allowed you to 3v1 and noobs couldn't keep up, so ofc they removed it.

    Again leaving in the ship was already a feature in ranked and was added a few seasons back, this also means that once you are a player down other players are free to leave as they wish without incurring a loss of points. (Can't believe I even had to explain that.....)

    "If a ranked player is unable to win without any team, not even random's then that does not mean they are bad." - Wrong, If a player relies on their teammates then this just shows that they are indeed bad at the game, why? Because they can't hold their own. This means soon as a player is out, they instantly lose because the player who left didn't carry them, again proving my point that they are indeed bad and need carrying and they are in the tier they were supposed to be in. This is why people do not like players who camp making it to diamond, because it took no skill.

    Respawn stating "apex legends is a team game" is just another sorry excuse to dumb down the original context of what this game really was; making it very noob friendly so players who couldn't get a kill finally do.

    To conclude, again this feature was already in the game; so there is literally nothing you can say in regards to it. If you need carrying every game, you are bad at the game. Simple.

      @MoNosDirtyGaming you are a special kind of person. Screw the RP, what do you think it does for the experience? You should NEVER be able to leave a ranked match intentionally without suffering a penalty. People don't join matches to play 2 v lobby. The fact you think it is okay at all is a puzzle to me.

        @Ki1lobyte Again, as i've repeated multiple times in this thread. You were able to leave ranked in the dropship starting 2 seasons ago due to matchmaking kicking you out of parties.. It kicked in loss forgiveness. This meant that both teammates who were now without a third person were able to also leave without loss forgiveness, it also meant that if they died and incurred negative RP; loss forgiveness would still kick in. Meaning all 3 teammates do not lose RP. WHICH ALSO MEANT that they could play a very aggressive playstyle with no punishments. It was a win for everyone.
