I’m currently considered old for gaming standards, but I grew up with punishing games which made me want to get better. I remember playing against absolute demons and trying to learn from it. Apex was a game that did the same for me and was rewarding to learn and master, and I’ve been Master 5 times now, but the game in its current state doesn’t represent that. Aim assist ruining the PC experience: especially at higher tiers this is just unplayable. Controller players will ape you just to get into the aim assist zone and 1-clip you through screen clutter before you can even blinkRanked + MMR is terrible and makes no sense: I’ve never had issues getting out of silver/gold/plat and even diamond as a solo player, but this season I’m pretty much “stuck” in Silver hell because I solo queue, get bad teammates and fight Master/Pred/Pro players while worse players can climb out because they face easier opponents and get more points per kill. Pubs is miserable too: My K/D used to be around 2.5~3 pretty much every season, with a win rate between 10%-15%. This season my K/D is 0.9 and my win rate after 100 games is 2%. I didn’t get worse, I dominate mixtape leaderboards against good players (Master/Pred with 4k20 badges). The matchmaking this season has just decided that my KD should be 1 and I should not be rewarded for improving but instead get punishedLazy events and skins: rehashed events if we even get any, and often times they’re worse than they used to be. I’m talking about actual playable events, not the skin store that Respawn likes to call an event. There hasn’t been a thematic skin event in months either, but we get fully recolored heirloom events at full price, we get bundles which now cost €30+ and are the only option (Wattson skin). The game just feels very stale at this point. I played some ranked today to see how it is, and it’s just miserable. I’m not touching the game again and moved on to Battlefield 1 and Battlebit as well as racing games. Apex has gone out of control trying to cash grab as much as possible without investing in game quality to actually keep people playing. Sad to see a good game turn into this.

@BennSauna you're right on all 4 points.1st point - you won't get much support for that pov around here. Although I understand it. Lots of players here still defend mixed input lobbies, I don't. It's just piling on to the rest of the existing issues.3rd point - this is my main issue with sbmm, it gets to decide outcomes by forcing lobbies onto players regardless of their improvement. In it's view we all should have equal outcomes. Some would argue 3kd is very high and you should lower your expectations, but I disagree. Killing 3 players in a random lobby hardly seems like it should be unreasonable.

After 10k+ hours i still play but im yeah dont want to. All The server, aa, audio problems yeah. I only play when im drinking and blast some tunes so i dont give af.

It's not aim assist man its cronus zen. Thousands of players are using cronus zen right now. I think there are a lot of pros using cronus as well. Aim assist is not as potent as you think it is. Cronus zen is that potent. I have been preaching for years now that respawn needs to fire their anticheat team or add funding to it but EA is horrid and is just going to ride this game until it dies and buy some new ip once it does and all the devs know it and a lot of the conscious playerbase do too. The best thing you can do is boycott the game and EA in general. Gaming will not improve until both activision and EA are gone.

If it weren't for my friends, I wouldn't have stood in this game for a minute. I play sometimes for the sake of my friends. I'll be leaving soon.

@FPShogun All of my friends have left. I used to have 20+ people playing all the time and now I'm lucky if there's 1 or 2 people. Usually I just end up playing alone because none of my friends play anymore and with these changes it really doesn't make sense for me to play solo either.

agree with everything , pubs/ranked are unplyable atm especially for solo players.
it's kinda boring to have to level up the battlepass in mixtape cuz it's the only playable game mode thanks to that worthless mmr.

Since day 1, i have played all season. I think i have just 3 incomplete battlepass but they Are like level 80

They messed up rank hard this season because of the reasons you mentioned.

Somebody who has higher MMR is placed into stronger lobbies even though his rank is bronze/silver/gold and now he has to play through these ranks vs much stronger opponents, while somebody with bad mmr in the same leagues is getting matched against bots and has a much easier time. How in the world does this make any sense?

I play it also since day one and have 3,5k and play nearly every day for 3-5, hours after work, more on weekends, and you have nearly three times more than me. do you even sleep man?
