210 damage in one shot???? Cheating?

Can someone do 210 damage in one shot against someone with blue armor using a triple take?

I was just killed at the end of a match by a Bangalore that did 210 damage with one shot using a triple take, and it was not a headshot, she fired at me sideways from a bad angle.  I couldn't find my phone, I was going to take a picture of it and then report it, but the game rushed the death summary screen off and I didn't find my phone on time, but I'm sure it's still in the system if there's still a way to report it.

This type of thing is starting to make this game not worth playing anymore.   I guess I can rest easy knowing my strategy actually won this match and I'm the real winner since this person used a hack to do something not possible.

I also had no prior damage in red under that, it said killed by 210 1 hit and showed a picture of the triple take.  That gun will not do that much damage.  According to the game there was no prior or simultaneous damage listed under that (and no other players were alive)

It is also not fair to all the other squads that died before me, but the fact I lasted to be the next to the last person alive even with a hacker shows I'm the better player.  I had my gold weapon from the neon loot tick and would have won this if this Bangalore would have challenged me to a fair apex match.

Is it still possible to give them my user ID and time it happened or does it erase everything in between matches?

The Wiki stuff is all fine and dandy however it still would not account for one hit from the TT doing 210 dmg.

Max I can see a TT do with amped cover is 132 head shot assuming all three bullets hit.

The Kraber will do 210 vs blue helmet and that could be the answer to @AymCTL 's question.

@AymCTL I really do not think the player was cheating as like I said vs a blue helmet a Kraber can do 210 damage all by itself.

I also see that you are somewhat new to Apex, I am a season 1 vet and what I have learned since the start is that Apex has a steep learning curve in more ways than one.

One has to learn the weapons, movement, Legends, abilities, maps, fast looting, how and where to drop, rotating, when and when not to engage/disengage etc. all the while having to learn to play with different plyers ply styles if you are not playing consistently with friends.

This makes the game tough and ranked play can be both somewhat tougher and easier as the lobby play style changes as you rank up.

I have games in ranked or pubs, does not matter, where there are games/days where I totally melt others and other times where I do not know what hit me and I am boxed before I can blink. It happens to all of us from time to time.

The biggest thing is to practice and persevere, it is a long road and when I started my KD, avg damage and win percentages where horrid but from season to season I set the goal to improve my skills and those stats even if it was just a little bit and I have seen that slow improvement.

BTW rank and level have nothing to do with any sort of in game advantages nor is level a perfect indicator of skill.

Keep your chin up and have fun.

A Triple Take cannot do 210 in one shot (or all three shots), even if they all hit you in the head, and even if they are amped.

  • @AymCTL You seem to have these issues a lot. My guess it's a combination of the switch and poor connection.

I suppose if he wasn't using auto kill that it could have been the Kraber, I didn't know the Kramer can do damage like that because I haven't seen it much, but I suppose if that was it then that could be what did it.

The reason I thought it was triple take was I recognized the sound when the player shot the other squad before going after me, but they could have switched guns.

This game is frustrating because I know as hard as it is it will probably take like two years before I'm on the same level as other players, it is a very hard game.

You are right about the switch, the games graphics are very blurry and bad with 20 fps.  I'm saving up right now to either get a gaming laptop or a PS5.
