Why remove the perks after I max out?

Getting heirloom shards would be an awesome thing to get as a prize of reaching lv 500. I'm still struggling to find a use for my tokens.

" even ninja who got paid millions to promote the game doesn't play that much but somehow, you play 24/7 for no reason, hoping to be hired by respawn or paid by ea and now that you've realized that it won't happen, you ask for rewards wtf
- @Pladauss You play the game for fun and to win matches like you should to begin with. The level stuff just happens.
@hayhor I like to collect legendary and unique stuff and now I don’t have apex packs coming once in a while anymore and that is disappointing
Since, I am not getting anything I paid 10 euros for 10 Apex packs the other Day and Out the 10 packs I got ZERO legendary drop. What I am supposed to do here? Pay for battle pass, pay for event, pay for quest and Start buy hundreds of packs to try complete my collection?(CM: Edited to remove bait per forum rules)
@Pladauss yes, EA wants you to spend money to support a FREE to play game that gives free cosmetic packs up to a certain point.
I've been 500 level for awhile and actually wish they would allow higher, with packs at wider intervals.(CM: Edited to remove portion referencing an edited out remark.)
