A better anti-cheat program and a temporary leave ban.

I've done a lot of reporting in game, not only just because I am salty, but there are infinite amount of cheaters out there. This is a free game. If they got banned, they'll just create a new one. So easy. Simply reporting them with evidences wont stop them. A better anti cheat program should be placed.

And these chinese advertisers. This has been brought up here a few times but the admins don't seem to take it seriously. It can't be solve by a mere support ticket. You need to implement a temporary leave ban that can escalate to a permanent ban.

I badly want to enjoy the game because when I first played it, it was damn fun. But now, it is just plagued with chinese advertisers and cheaters.

I've seen a fight with 2 cheaters. It's really hilarious. Hilariously * up.

  • Unfair to blame an entire region? Man, most of the cheaters are from China! We can't deny that fact. There are also Korean hackers but mostly are from China and they are everywhere! I've played PUBG and most of the hackers are from China. When PUBG Corp decided to region lock China everything went great and the fun came back! Respawn and EA should learn from other games. PUBG almost died because of hackers but they suddenly came back up when they made that decision.

I can understand your frustration with cheating. I play Apex as well, but I use any negative energy in a positive way. By helping other players with questions and by providing helpful links.

It may not seem like a lot but it's better than being angry. I used to go overboard with criticism on forums until I realised it doesn't help.

I truly hope you have great games ahead!

It's unfair to blame an entire region because then honest players are blamed as well as the cheats. And that's not fair.

We all know that cheating is a challenge for game producers on PC. I believe it's best to support their efforts and to appreciate them and the honest players.

You have to learn to smile your way through these things.

  • If majority of the players in that region is cheating then unfortunately I believe it is best for EA to consider to region lock them. That small percentage of “honest” player sis nothing compared to a chaotic number of cheaters/hackers and it causes MAJOR impact in the game mostly ruins the game experience of MAJORITY of Apex players. Also, I paid for the BP and my playing experience is being ruined by these cheaters/hackers so how would I smile if I was being ripped off with my money.

I can understand your need to be a politician role-player, perhaps EA member wannabe... it doesn't matter. I use any negative-angry-positive-whatever you wanna call it energy in a real helpful way by exposing major issues like the current report system (that you call "helpful link") DOESN'T WORK, it's obsolete.

It may seem like being angry, but it's better than wishing people happiness, good games and rainbows. I used to be the Mr. Nice Guy on forums until i realized it doesn't help to really fix anything.

I truly hope you have great games ahead despite the cheaters!

lets keep the chinese out of american servers. give the chinese their own servers in taiwan or hong kong.

  • The cheating problem is out of control.
They arent even trying to hide their cheating.

    I saw a cheater with 20 season 1 wins.

    Tracking trough walls,snapping to heads.
Having a proper game with 9+ kills and than some noobleton comes allong and gives u 3 headshots with a wingman from over 250 m away while you are jumping/running.

This game is going to die of people leaving in frustration.

    It´s not only china.

Germany, France, Russia and other eastern countries are known to have a lot of cheaters too.... especially the younger generations since the millenials.

You won´t stop anything by just regionlock china.

We need proactive anticheat software like battleeye.... or the good old punkbuster.

wait did they actually made a region lock on china only? Damn that's neat. Guess gonna go play again.
also in South East Asia almost all cheaters do come from China. Pubg was filled with it back in the day.

I believe it's not economic to do so, because EA alwyas goes the most economic way and not the "what's best for the players"-way. If you want a game company that really cares about all this, go to Blizzard games.

I have to say, you aren't wrong. Outside of a year in SWTOR, I never played an EA affiliated game until Apex Legends. I play a lot of Blizzard games, though, and have for 24 years now.

Well, ok. I'm 46-years-oild. I played EA games back in the 1980s and early 1990s, but nothing outside of SWTOR in the past almost 20 years.

The way Blizzard handles their games and the way EA does is a night and day difference. Repsawn might or not not be a good studio, I don't know since I never played Titanfall, but this is my last time touching any game with the EA logo on it. Sorry, Respawn.
