Meh. The game isn't that great to begin with. Slow character movespeed, high time to kill, low overall amount of loot on the map, a zillion bugs and crashes, tiny magazine sizes, lack of ammo, slow healing speed, I mean it takes like 10 full seconds to use a Phoenix Kit, and you can't sprint, or use abilities, or reload, or shoot, movespeed gets reduced to the crouch walk speed, I mean all these things and much more artificially slow the game down. And who gets the brunt of these mechanics? Solo players.
Dnt play it then. You can always check on fortnite or pu bg 🙂
@ragnarokfpsNothing you've said correlates at all with the experiences I've had with the game.
Sounds like you're doing everything wrong. Are you sure you're even talking about the right game ? This is Apex Legends forums

Would have to disagree with just about every part of that statement. A Phoneix kit heals full health and armour, it should take long. Character moves 10x better than PUBG and is much faster then overall than Blackout. This may be an unpopular thought, but lack of ammo is a good balance feature, you shouldn't have unlimited ammo... Game well balanced, excited to play solo or duo's for sure...
- Pretty much. Just doesn't sound like he's even playing the same game/
I haven't even found there to be a lack of ammo, besides for energy weapons. Even then, its only ever really lacking for excessive devotion use. Every other type of ammo is consistently available, at least enough for 1-2 fights. Win those fights, and you have just recuperated the ammo you used (and then some). You guys are nuts if you think Apex is a faster game than Blackout. Turn your field of view down to the default of 70, and you'll see exactly how "fast" the game is in reality without the illusion of speed that 110 field of view gives you.
The sprint speed of Apex is about as fast as the walk speed of Blackout. Nevermind the slower characters like Gibralter. The time to heal is slower, encouraging camping. Time to kill is slower, discouraging making moves without the squad. Time to revive is slower. Can't move or look around while reviving. Reloading speeds are slower. Mantling over obstacles is slower. There's no vehicles to get you around faster. There's significantly less overall quantity of loot on the ground per square meter. Less ammo, less guns, less gear. Need a few minutes to get enough loot to attain the same lethality Blackout players can get after a few seconds. The storm moves more slowly. There's no reload cancel. ADS speeds are slower. Sprintout times are slower. Even merely starting up a game is slower. The looting is slower. There's smaller magazine sizes which means more time reloading instead of doing damage. And small mags hurts players who prefer to move fast with a high sensitivity, less time available to track targets while shooting because you have to reload. High sens players usually start shooting near a target, and begin to track the target accurately after they start to shoot. Blackout players can sprint and heal simultaneously. Everything about Blackout is faster. Have you considered why the CoD franchise is still one of the most played franchises out there, even after many, many years? It's the speed, snappiness, and high lethality that players enjoy. Clearly. Apex is a slow paced game, dont be fooled by a high field of view.
Its pretty clear you're trying to talk down on a game that you don't even know the mechanics of. Gibraltar isn't slower than the other characters, his arms move slower during his run animation because he is a larger character. The devs have confirmed this multiple times. You would know if you played him and ran with your team mates. Also Blackouts speeds and pace are pretty irrelevant dude, this is a different game with a different map scale. Besides there are balloons everywhere which allow you to rotate around the map. "No vehicles to get around faster"...
Aside from the all the logical fallacies in your arguments, these things are likely to be changed anyway. The game has been out for like a week lol.
If you don't like the game just play something else or check back after some patches. Simple.
- Boggles my mind that someone would waste up so much time and energy on trashing a game he clearly doesn't enjoy. Go play blackout if you prefer it so much.
I do. 6,500 kills, 300 wins
Anyway, Apex is flavor of the month. We'll move on to the next game whenever it comes out, and so on. Unless the Infinity Ward battle royal knocks it out of the park. They always were better than Treyarch at making CoD.
@PRISMAT1C Honestly I agree man. Every thread I see him in he is just bashing the game and talking about blackout without adding anything constructive. He's been at it quite a bit in fact.
